1.I like the view of room & restaurant.2.Please strengthen indoor deodorization, do not have the smell of cigarettes.3.Asking, how many credit I got?

The front counter staff was confused and said we didn't have a reservation. Fortunately I had the printout and could show them. The building looks fancy on the outside but at least the part we stayed in was quite old and in need of renovation; our room was clean but the walls were scratched and (surface) damaged and the bed frame was rickety and noisy. Convenient location, only a short walk across the famous Bitan suspension bridge from Xindian station, but there are better options locally at a similar price.

Minimally acceptable rooms, convenient location

Location is excellent, close to places of business in New Taipei City. Staff are very courteous and helpful. Most staff understand and speak English also. Very clean place. Noise level is low not absolutely quiet and comfortable enough for my business conference calls and webexes etc. WiFi is steady and very good. The room is a bit small if you are used to large rooms in big hotels. There isn't any gym or exercise room, and not expected either. Breakfast is reasonably good. I recommend this place highly. If I were to come to this area again, I will definitely try to stay here.

clean, small, courteous staff, great location

The staffs were niceThe bed sheet and pillow case had stain on them, the cupboard had a strong umpleasant odour with oil stain on the door, the fridge was rusty. And i booked for two days but the staff made a mistake and called me for check out on the second day. The room was not as spacious as the picture shown

Having spent three days staying in the hotel, I found the hotel is close to scenic spots at Bitan scenic area, with extensive cycling routes, jogging tracks, family boating, and hiking trails. If most locals and tourists enjoy having a weekend away from the hectic city centre and look for some outdoor activities. The hotel staff at the front desk are resourceful and friendly, willing to offer prompt assistance.

A good place for family leisure 

Stayed 4 days in March. First 2 days assigned a corner lake view room. Rare shaped room. Not too happy. Last 2 day we got the regular lake view room. Much better! Services are good. No complaint. That is all you needed. Try to avoid corner room though!

Near to the meeting point and see to find location. Just come out from metro and arrive in 15 minutes

Near to some tourist attractions

I stayed in Room 809.  Shocked to see the small room that is not even angled and square.  The Central Air conditioning is hard to figure out how to operate and does not seem to work at the time.  The lace around the beds is annoying.  Toilet is very squashed.  

View from this room is fantastic.  Can see the lake and the lights of the bridge.  Good in-room boiling water, free bottles of water with tea bags and instant coffee.  Nice area to walk around the area.

Aged hotel, small room with great views

This hotel is a good choice if you want to find a cheap but spacious hotel room near Taipei.
Pros:  aside from the price, staff is generally friendly.  I won’t call the room clean, but condition is acceptable. Free breakfast but quality and choice are limited.  However, they offer some vegetables.  Even if you interested in trying the night markets vendor foods, the breakfast will be a good opportunity to have the veggie you need for a healthy day.  The room is generally quiet, and hotel is right by a stream called Xin Dian Xi with good view.  If you have extra time, you can actually spend half a day or full day exploring the surranding which include a river side park, food and drink area by the river, and some hiking trails.  They have free wifi which works fine.
Cons:  the hotel check in time is 6pm during weekends.  I figured it’s because they are renting the rooms out by hours (see the picture with sign on the wall of the hotel building indicating “resting from TWD450”), and on weekends they have better business.  You can leave your luggage at the hotel before checking in though.   Hotel is around 5-10 minutes’ walk from an MRT (Rapid Transit) station. However, it is about 30 minutes by MRT to downtown Taipei.  The hotel and utilities look quite aged to me.   It’s an ok place to stay, but don’t anticipate any luxury experience.   They were overbooked on my first night there, so they downgraded me to a room with no window without any compensation.
