Quiet village location, gourmet restaurant/pub next door. Ample parking just outside the door. Stayed in room #1, in oldest part of this 1600s building, with thick walls and ensuite shower. Fresh milk for your tea/coffee and small fridge provided. Within easy reach of both northern and southern Cornish coasts, we found it ideal for exploring. We were lucky with the weather, but if (when) it rains, there is a cosy common room available. Amiable hosts. Would stay again.

We stayed here for 2 days in July and it was wonderful. What a find! Paddy's breakfast's are to die for~!!  very clean and well accomodated . We moved on to another place in Cornwall but should have stayed here. Nothing is too much trouble.

Bissick Old Mill is lovely place to stay - quiet and off the beaten track, but well placed to visit most of Cornwall. Paddy, the host, cannot do enough, and his breakfast must be the best in Cornwall.

What's not to like?  Quiet location off the road, very well-appointed room with extremely comfortable bedding and FRESH MILK in the fridge.  And breakfasts to die for ably cooked by proprietor Paddy.  The full cornish will set you up all day!  Definitely the best B&B we have ever stayed in and we will definitely return.

The Bissick Old Mill is a hidden gem in a beautiful part of Cornwall. Owner Paddy cannot do enough to make your stay perfect, from excellent customer service to wonderful breakfasts. Its a cosy, welcoming B&B, perfectly located to explore Cornwall.

When you choose accommodation you are never to sure what you’re going to get, but this one exceeded all expectations. Everything was absolutely perfect. Lovely comfortable room with so many extra special touches such as a sweeties, tin of biscuits, well stocked tea/coffee tray with fresh milk in fridge. Even a hot water bottle and robes in the wardrobe. Scrupulously clean and in excellent decorative order everywhere. 
Separate residents lounge and a dining room for breakfasts. Simply outstanding breakfasts ably cooked by Patrick. Orders are placed the night before. Wide choice of cooked items. Help yourself to cereals. Delightful bowls of freshly prepared fruit salad on the table each morning.
Excellent location for visiting many wonderful places in Cornwall. Gastric pub next door and post office/ shop opposite. 
Would definitely recommend most highly to anyone.

We used the Old Mill as a base for exploring the area and attending a graduation ceremony in Truro. We stayed in two adjacent rooms and found them to be clean and comfortable. The breakfast was grand - with the owner happy to cook what we asked for - and he even cut up the scrambled egg on toast for my son who had his arm in plaster! Really friendly place and highly recommend. 

Trying a B&B for the first time, we didn’t know what to expect, but as regular travellers, both pleasure and business, I must say that the standards in Bissick Old Mill are much higher than lots of 4* hotels we’ve stayed at. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, the breakfast one of the best we’ve tried. We can recommend Bissick Old Mill in every way. Thank you for some wonderful days.

Friendly welcome, nice room - massive, tasty breakfast!
It’s a short drive outside Truro and we just added a day to our Cornwall trip with just one night here. I wish we’d stayed longer. I would recommend Bissick Old Mill to anyone. 

Stayed for 4 days as a last minute get away with Partner and Toddler. We stayed in the Mill suit, two rooms with two ensuite bathrooms, the second room can be turned into a children's room if requested, but we chose to keep it as a sitting room which worked really well for us. The rooms were clean and tidy and well stocked with the little extras you might need, towels shampoo, milk tea, hot chocolate..... The bed (extra large double) was so comfortable! WiFi connection was faultless. The breakfasts were fantastic, Paddy was there for every breakfast we had and his attention to detail was spot on, actual soldiers with the eggs and mini mouse toast with little ones beans! He was always very chearfull and chatty full of great local knowledge and visit suggestions. The location half way between North and South coast makes it a perfect holiday launch pad. Excellent value for money too!
