Arrived in a thunderstorm, this is a pretty, lovingly maintained motel. Very Friendly staff who ensured everything was as required. We stayed in room 1, for one night only, this had a kitchenette and sofa, also carport roof. It is really quiet, woken by birdsong next day. Really appreciated the local coffee in the room! Used the laundry and borrowed an umbrella for the Mitai Maori evening across the road. Did not get to try the pool as weather was too rainy. Overall highly recommended.
