Exceptionally friendly hosts. Comfortable bed, quiet room, great breakfast, good parking. Only a one night stay but we will certainly be back.

We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment...it was fab, just like living in your own cosy cottage. Everything was provided and Margaret & Caradog felt more like friends. They even allowed us to use their own patio area which was lovely.
The breakfast was the best we've ever experienced in a b&b, tasty and plentiful.
Margaret was a mine of information about the local area and suggested places of interest and Caradog told us the best time of day, and where, to see dolphins. 
Easy to get around by car from there too. Bus stop was right outside buses were fairly regular and as long as you check the timetable first you can go as far as Aberystwyth one way or Cardigan the other.
Absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely stay again

My husband and I have recently returned from staying a night at The Beechwood. My only regret is that it was only for the night. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment. We both had the best nights sleep. 
The apartment has everything and more you could want. We are looking forward to returning soon for longer.

A really reasobly priced B&B, nicely warming feel to the place and the welcome. Only surpasses by the brrakfast which was the best I have had for some time! Highly recommend for a location to see Ceredgion, including New Quay, Aberaeron et al.

This was one of the very best B & B accommodations we have ever stayed in. Caradog and Margaret where wonderful hosts, so very friendly and helpful. The price was very good, every where was exceptionally clean  and the  room and breakfasts were great. From this location you are able to visit many places of interest with ease and we would recommend Beechwood for anyone to stay at to enjoy an excellent holiday.

We recently stayed at Beechwood House for two nights and wished our stay could have been longer. Close to New Quay and easy to get to. Our hosts Caradog and Margaret couldn't have been nicer - lovely to chat to. They gave us the apartment to stay in, which we didn't expect, and we felt at home there - it had everything we needed and more! And the breakfasts - absolutely delicious, we didn't need to eat for hours! Don't hesitate to book a stay here.

My daughter and her family decided to holiday in New Quay, Wales and as we were looking after another of our grandsons we decided to travel down and spend a few days with her, her husband and two children. We looked for accommodation near to where they were staying and decided on Beechwood House, Llanarth, a few minutes away from where they were staying.
What a brilliant decision.  Margaret and Caradog are two really super hosts, who would bend over backwards to sort out any requests. The rooms were clean and tidy and the breakfast is one of the best I have ever had and I've had quite a few, believe me! We stayed in a ground floor apartment which had everything you would ever need for any length of stay. Fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, oven, TV, CD player, a room with a double bed and a put you up single bed in the main room as well as a sofa which looked as though it converted into another bed. A trip round to the front door and breakfast was served. More than adequate parking, the free Wifi worked perfectly and if you needed any supplies there is a  Premier shop with reasonable prices about 50 metres away which stays open until 10 pm most days. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be going back.

Wished we could have stayed longer in the apartment at Beechwood House .Great facilities, clean , comfortable and wonderful hospitality from Margaret and Caradog who could not have been more welcoming and helpful.Great breakfast and plenty of it which set us up for the day.

Absolutely fabulous 

Fantastic stay.

Beechwood House is not just a B&B it has a 2 bedroom apartment and another single apartment.
It is a beautiful traditional Welsh house with some gorgeous original features.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which resembles more like a separate cottage, own patio, garden. Very spacious with good size bedrooms and a large bathroom ( roll top bath and separate power shower) Large kitchen. Free wi-fi. Has all the amenities you would need.

There is free parking and your car is definitely secure and safe.

Apartment was lovely, big enough for a family of 4. 

Both Caradog and Margaret are lovely.  If I could have given them a cwtch (hug) for being so fabulous I would have. They are so friendly and chatty and gave us some great tips of the area and of places to eat. Thanks to them we went to the Moody Cow Bargoed Farm for a meal out. Its about a mile away and omg, amazing food, and reasonably priced.

The breakfast is outstanding. Cereals, fresh fruit, pastries, yoghurts, juices, amazing coffee, cooked breakfast ( locally sourced produce) Bacon, eggs, black pudding, beans, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, fried bread, toast.
I didn't need to eat all day after such a breakfast. Beautifully cooked, piping hot and delicious. 

Another note and I can only say a massive thank you - I have coeliac disease and cannot eat gluten and they went above and beyond for me. They were so helpful and all my breakfast was gluten free, even the sausages.

Location - about 3 miles from New Quay so no more than 10 minutes drive away but there is a regular local bus service with the bus stop located about 30secs walk away. 
Very central for Aberaeron, Aberporth, Aberystwyth, Llangrannog. All definitely worth a visit.  

Would definitely recommend. 

My only top tip would be - don't shoot me ! 
I feel Caradog and Margaret could put up their prices a little as you definitely get value for money above and beyond. I would have happily paid a little more as the breakfast alone used expensive ingredients. You get free secure parking, a very clean environment and I know after being in the area before parking can and often is an extra charge.

Excellent Accommodation, Hosts and Value for Money

A homely, good value b&b with a very warm welcome, almost felt like going to stay with family (in a good way). TV and wifi kept our teenager happy. Breakfast good and the lovely hosts went out of their way to provide vegetarian options. Room very clean, ensuite shower well powered, sink was in the room rather than the bathroom but that was fine. Would happily return if in the area.
