L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue

As we were invited at  DECOUVERTES EN VALLEE DU RHONE (Wine tasting) we booked at Le Beaugart in Isle sur la Sorgue. 
We were heartly welcomed by Ingrid. She did her utmost to please us, which succeeded. 
The room was not too big, but bathroom and toilet were separated from the bedroom, which looked more like a small apartment. We had a fridge and coffee/tea 
facilities. The whole is nicely decorated in an exotic way. 
Elaborate breakfast. Choice between sweet and salty. Exellent coffee. Ingrid called it a small Clooney. ( Nespresso). 
Good wifi.

We called and arranged a stay for between  2-4 nights. (No internet access whole time.) When we arrived, Ingrid and her large white dog gave us a house tour (broken door handles so you couldn't shut or lock a door and also significant water damage from a recent storm)and a grounds tour, where Ingrid pointed out a fake leg in the yard and a fake foot in a planter-remains from "previous guests".(Seriously?) First night ok but requested a meal at the chambre.  Ingrid ate with us & proceeded to share too much personal information including swimming with her boyfriend and then he started flailing and drowned. 
Breakfast out on terrace-Ingrid gave us good day trip suggestions and then proceeded to share vengeful events she had done it to her current and a previous neighbor including putting milk in a syringe and injecting it in the key slot of his car door and taking pleasure watching him clean his car each week trying to get rid of the smell! Yikes!
After an ok breakfast (yogurt that's expired over a week is fine -expiration dates are just a marketing ploy), we talked about local sites (no internet) and spent the day sightseeing and decided we would leave the following day. That night we were telling Ingrid we would leave the next day & she flipped out. She said she had booked us for 3 nights. We said we told her on the phone we would stay between 2-4 nights. She stopped talking to us and went upstairs and didn't say one more civil word to us. As soon as we went to bed she got up and was banging things around downstairs. We worried she would sabotage our car or put something in our breakfast food or our laundry she still had in the dryer (5 Euro fee to wash 1 load).  Horrible nights sleep if I even slept. We left the next morning as quickly as we could get organized. Run don't walk away from this place!  Psycho!
