This is a wonderful, calm place. The decor is beautiful, the rooms very big, spacious and comfortable. The summer kitchen was very well stocked and the atmosphere extremely relaxed and welcoming. The gardens are amazing - lush, tropical and dense and a wonderful escape from reality. The pool area was lovely and we spent hours down there. Very traditional but comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. All in all- it felt like a b&b combined with a private villa- although there were lots of other guests there too, we felt as if it was ‘ours’, in a good way! We loved it. Nearby we visited beautiful roman villages (eg balazuc) went kayaking and swam in river beaches. We got pizza takeaway and ate in some lovely local places - it was a perfect base. I totally recommend it!!
