Bed & Breakfast Casa Dei Colli

Not too easy to find along a rural lane, but once there we two sun-baked cyclists were given a friendly welcome in this ancient stone farmhouse by the owners Frans and Ingrid a Dutch couple. Then a luxurious cool ground floor bedroom with huge modern en-suite shower room, and a cold beer or two from the cellar - and the icing on the cake for weary travellers, a lift by car for gastronomic and good value dinner in the village (and collection afterwards). After a copious breakfast on the sunlit terrace overlooking the Marche hills, it was hard to suggest anything to improve upon, and even harder to leave. It's an idyllic place to return to for a longer no-stress stay to explore further the unspoilt hills of deepest Italy - and the restaurants.
