B&B Nostromo

Funtana is a little quit town, 10 minutes from Porec/ Istrië in Croätie . We were greatly received by Jaro & Anna , they are Craotian, the owner is from Belgium. They speak good English and a little Flemish ! Our room was upstairs and we were very happy with the airco, for it was a very hot period. Great beds with lovely cotton sheets. Bathroom has all you need even a hairdryer, soaps and champoos . Breakfast is served in , or outside at your convenience and time. They even made us a picnic for our trip to Venice ( which is only 2.5 hours away from Porec with an organised Catamaran trip ) and for the ride back home. Upon request you can have a barbeque . The restaurants Yaro suggested were great & inexpensive , not only in Funtana, but in all the other towns we did visit in Istrië .The best part is coming home , we sat outside every evening after dinner with the other guest and the manager. We learned a lot about the history of this lovely country, and that of the other guests. We recommend this place highly , they serve the best Belgian beers & lovely Croätian wines . We felt really at home in a country we knew so little about, but fell in love with. It is great if you have a car, but there is public transportation 2 minutes away from the B& B .
