14 reviewsI stayed here during my week-long vacation in Rome. The host Mariet is a nice and kind lady who will always help you (and her family-members are also really nice)! The breakfast is simple but great: a fresh coffee, a croissant with jam and some juice. I got a discount because I booked a room for a week, so it turned out cheaper than the places with smaller price per day. Your room will be also cleaned, there is a possibility to pay for the use of an air-conditioning (which I recommend if you are not so great with the heat as I am) and the towels are included in the price, so it's good if you don't want to take them with you or if you travel using low cost and excessive luggage might get pricy. There is a little fridge in the corridor you can use and a wifi is also included. The location is perfect, it's a small walk to the Termini train station so you can get any bus you want as well as both metro-lines (metro in Rome is a great and cheap method of transportation), great for the late walks or having dinner in the historical center - the metro works until 23:30, so you can always get home without getting a taxi (which are known for trying to cheat you). Of course you can buy everything you need at the station - there are two supermarkets (open until late), a drugstore and some snacks are also available. For people sending postcards there is a post office nearby. I can only recommend staying at her place.
