This B&B is located just out of Mattinata on a hill with an amazing view on the bay. We had planned to stay 2 days but added a 3d day because we loved the place. Our host was very kind and we resented not speaking italian as we would have loved to exchange more with him. We had a large room with a large terrace and a great view on the bay for an amazingly affordable price. The room (which was in fact more like a small appartment) was not luxurious but very functional with reversible air conditioning and a mini refrigerator. Local and home made products for breakfast which we took outside looking at the beautiful bay. There is a large and very secure parking. We travel a lot and stayed in quite a number of places in many countries but this one beats them all in terms of cost effectiveness. Ps: the B&B is located on a small road just out of Mattinata. The address is not avalaible on all GPSs. However it is very easy to find with Waze. Just enter B&B La Scapola and Waze will find it!
