B&B Curfew Garden Court

My partner and I had a lovely stay here when attending a wedding reception last week. The room and bathroom was immaculately clean, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in! The room has a cosy, relaxing feel and a separate door which opens up onto the courtyard.

Alex was a wonderful host, she made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble for her. The home cooked breakfast, made by Alex, was delicious, it was far beyond B&B standard and you could taste the quality of the produce being used. The selection of cold breakfast supplements was also very impressive.

I would definitely stay here again and hope I have the opportunity to do so. My partner and I have stayed in many B&Bs and this is certainly the most welcome I have ever felt when staying at one.

A very quaint B&B with off road parking which is a bonus in Midhurst. Immaculately clean, great shower and extremely comfortable bed. We were favoured with good weather so were able to enjoy breakfast outside on the terrace and enjoy the view. Alex is very friendly and hospitable and cooks a good breakfast. The only negative for us was the ground floor room we had was advertised as having an en suite bathroom which wasn't really correct. Whilst the bathroom was immediately next door to the bedroom, you had to leave the bedroom to access the bathroom which was onto an open corridor next to a glassed main entrance and into the owners living area. The bedroom would also benefit from some window opening for ventilation, we had to open the door which opened onto the car park and thoroughfare for the main entrance so everyone walked past the bedroom.

A wonderful B&B

Quaint B&B

Ground floor room is not en suite. You have to enter it from the owners living room. No windows that you can open only a door that leads on to the car parking area. No chairs in the room, can only sit on the bed which is about 14 inches from the door. No mirror in the bedroom which is very unusual. My friend stayed in the 1st floor room which was far superior. The ground floor room was very overpriced. The only thing I can say is that it was very near to the Spread Eagle Hotel where we were attending a function.

warm welcome but disappointing room

Alex was very friendly and welcoming, we had the superior bedroom upstairs, in it was the very large bed, the breakfast was good with lots of choice. The negative points for the room were the blinds & carpets were a bit tired, no frosted glass or ventilation in the en-suite, also the shower tray could do with replacing, no lock on the bedroom door. I didn't think the room was great value for money.

Pleasent stay in Midhurst

We cannot fault the friendliness of our welcome, and the excellence of the breakfast, but some things need to be mentioned for the benefit of those who maybe like real privacy.

Like another reviewer has said, the downstairs room isn't ensuite but you have to enter the family hall/ living room of the owners to use the bathroom, albeit it next door. The bedroom isn't lockable either so when we were out it was insecure. There were no windows to open, so we had to have our own private external door open for ventilation which everyone in the courtyard walked past and could see us lounging on the bed, which is the only place to sit as the room was very compact. The bed was immaculate, and very comfy. The bathroom very clean, other than an excessively long shower curtain which was mouldy at the base. These are cheap enough to replace frequently.
Otherwise very friendly and also most convenient for central Midhurst. 
Internet was unobtainable in our room.
