Balea Ice Hotel

We wanted to try an ice hotel and being as we had previously visited Romania and stayed with Secret Transylvania we obviously booked through them. We unfortunately arrived in a freak snow storm which meant no activities were running but Bob our tour guide made us feel happy and entertained in the Cabana. Those of us who felt strong enough chose to take the walking excursion, we had hot wine we could concur the world. We had been walking for about 20 minutes, which was very hard, when Bob said no this is not safe I am sorry but this is too dangerous. He turned us back, turns out other tour guides did not have the same safety in mind and people got stuck and had to be rescued. We had a great time, it is definitely an experience, food great and beautiful surroundings. Definitely worth a visit just be careful who you go with! Would recommend secret Transylvania.
