This is a really cool hotel in an old building. The music theme and the friendly service make it a unique stay. Yes the stairs are delightfully steep, and the rooms are small, and the toilet and shower is shared with the corridor, but this is not a Premier Inn. It’s right by a canal and in the midst of the historic area - so you can hear some of the hustle and bustle of a busy city during the night - but nothing outrageous. The continental breakfast is delicious and the bar has a selection of local craft beers and a free pool table - what’s not to love
