Azuridge Estate Hotel

We recently visited this beautiful hotel for dinner with friends. Amazing… the location, the service, the food, the ambiance… we cannot wait to return and share this experience with family. Next time we’re going to try a weekend brunch as we hear the scones are delicious. 

Christopher, as head hotel contact, helped secure us a reservation for six on relative short notice to enjoy an early meal at their patio for Burgers 'n Beer.  Knowing these stunning locations thrive on primarily small to larger weddings during the summer season, we felt blest that Christopher "went the extra mile" by asking the restaurant manager if we could be accommodated.  Thank you Chris.  Then we were doubly blest having Ainsley as our hostess/waitress.  The salmon burgers were exceptional (even with my GF bun) and the fries were not overwhelmed by the truffle oil they were cooked in.  Baby Owen (coming up to his first BD) enjoyed the lovely grounds and green grass while we waited for our entrees.  My N.J. relative thought he could order his burger to be more rare (Waygu) but it was explained by Chef/Waitress Ainsley that government regulations mandate cooking all burgers to a certain temperature.  Guess not so in N.J.   We all enjoyed our time there and chatting with Ainsley.  The addition of cocktail/wine/beer already included int eh price is a nice feature.   We climbed up almost to the top of the tower and well worth the 72 steps, to gain the beautiful views.  .  

Nestled away in the rolling foothills south of Calgary is the Azuridge luxury boutique hotel on 13 acres and is made up of 2 stately residences, one the Sapphire hall , a former business executives 13000 sq. ft. residence and the Emerald Manor, it's guest house. The gem-centred identity and earth blend of rock and timber beams provide the architectural drama of this wilderness setting to the exterior facade and landscape as well as the interior decor.

Each of the 13 guest suites boasts floor to ceiling windows which offers a valley or mountain view. Each suite is named after a gem and is designed to pay homage to the preciousness of the crystal as well as providing it's inherent refreshing and relaxing attributes for the quests. I splurged on the upgraded Garnet suite which sported a stunning landscape view, a Jacuzzi tub, a walk-in shower, heated floors, a luxurious Kind bed.....amongst other luxuries....spectacular digs ...spared no expense.

Guests can enjoy world class facilities and amenities from exquisitely decorated rooms, gourmet dining, spa services and amazing panoramic views. The services of the expert trained butlers; however, prided themselves on offering guests a personalized experience and exceptional service. For the golf zealot, a golf course is just down the way, with Spruce Meadow , a horse riding facility, about 18 KM away.

Food is upper crust here as the Executive Chef creates menu's to suit your culinary desires. You can enjoy the food crew practice their wares in the Open Kitchen of Sapphire Hall...or if you are lucky, you could participate in a ' Chef's Table Experience'. The Azuridge could be considered a Gourmet Getaway as well as a Peaceful Staycation.

Ah the Spa...the Flourish LIV Well Energy Spa at the Azuridge continues the honouring of unique, precious and empowering gems from around the world. Crystal are the centre of all wellness options and makeovers. The Fluorite mineral, a balancing and ground stone has an alleged ability to create focus and clarity. From facials, massages and other crystal-themed based treatments, I choose the Hot Stone Massage with the natural effects of energy infused crystals.....a rejuvenation experience.... from the pangs of my horseback ride.

My brother’s wedding was here this past weekend and we could not have asked for a better place!
So beautiful. So peaceful. And the staff was phenomenal. They were so lovely and really made the extra mile in so many ways.
Especially JP - he went ABOVE and BEYOND so many times to help us out!!

We can’t thank JC, Binod, and Clementine enough! What a spectacular team you have to complement your beautiful property. It was so wonderful to have a two night ladies getaway so close to home. We felt like we were in complete vacation mode. The small added touches in the suite and the spectacular food were just what we needed. Thank you for elevating hospitality service and remembering that it is the little details that make the memories. 

My partner and I made the very good decision to book the “couples escape” package for Valentines Day. We were blown away by the service, accommodations and value of this package. 
Our room (Citrine suite) was massive with floor to ceiling windows, a full bathroom with beautiful walk in shower and large tub, 2nd water closet, 2 queen beds, separate tv area and patio. 
Our meal that evening was absolutely amazing (our 3rd time dining here and have loved the presentation and flavours of every dish). I have a dairy allergy which they have always done an excellent job of accommodating. 
We have stayed at and dined at other luxury hotels (Fairmont, Rimrock etc). While we have thoroughly enjoyed each of those experiences,  Azuridge still tops our list!! 
We will definitely do this package again. 

This was an amazing evening. The service was quick and efficient and the food excellent. I have no idea about price but was assured by my kids that it was excellent value for the large private room and dinner for us all. Love the touch of an ice plate etched "Happy Anniversary" for the sorbet. It is not often one gets an amuse-bouche and sorbet served with dinners now. It is now on my list of places to stay. This is worth so much more than other places for a special dinner such as we had. I would highly recommend Azuridge. It was so perfect.

Due to COVID-19, we had to change our venue 5 weeks prior to our wedding this past June. We ended up booking Azuridge (my dream venue!) because not only is the venue incredible, so are the people. From the moment you walk in you feel special and important. Michaelle stopped at nothing to ensure we had the perfect wedding, despite ever changing restrictions and weather conditions. Her creativity and attention to detail was appreciated and made our day so easy and enjoyable. The butler team is exceptional. They were available for anything and everything we needed: unloading luggage and wedding decor, room service food and drinks... it was all so appreciated. Special shout out to JC- he went above and beyond our expectations during our stay! The food was fabulous as were the drinks- be sure to try the dangerous diamonds! The rooms are huge, well decorated, and the views are spectacular. We felt like we won the lottery getting married at such a magical place! Thank you to everyone at Azuridge for making our wedding weekend so special! We can’t wait to come stay with you again! 

I have been wanting to take my 91 year mom for a drive in the foothills and an outing as she has been so limited with the pandemic precautions. I called in advance to inquire about precautions and how we would manage. The staff went out of there way to arrange a parking place near the ramp and advised me as to the best time to come for limited contact. Once we arrived we were immediately helped by the butler and the restaurant staff assisted us immediately. We had a lovely brunch sitting by the window. Thank you to everyone - it made for a stellar day for my mom!

Attended a wedding where the entire facility was booked for a private function. On the drive in we were very concerned about where we were going. What a pleasant surprise to arrive it this spectacular facility nestled in the foothills of the Rockies in Priddis, Alberta. The structures and layout were stupendous. Our corner suite with incredible views of the vista left us speechless. Our suite was so large with wrap around balconies that we were able to exercise and exhaust our 3lb Yorkie by running her around the room. The butler service was a great touch but got overwhelmed with everyone leaving at the same time. The set dinner was very well presented and the food was very good. My only beef would be the sparse selection at brunch on day 2 of our stay. Definitely a must visit but be prepared for the premium cost.
