Fantastic hotel for couples to relax and unwind, excellent facilities. The ameneties were good and the staff were very helpful. I was taken and picked up from the local shopping mall. Myanmar is a quiet place but a nice place to relax in and to get away from it all. 

We had lovely two days stay in this beautiful Resort which had excellent conference facilities. The campus of the Resort is lovely, with a beautiful Lake inside the Resort. Room was lovely, food excellent. They had made special arrangements for Indian food. We had a lovely dinner by the poolside hosted by our Myanmar hosts. Very good stay.

I stayed for three days on business in the Aureum Palace. The place is spacious, golf-course style hotel, and the staff ways friendly and helpful. Most speak a good English. The only let-down was a chicken curry I ordered, which would have been more accurately described as chicken-bone curry. For one, there was very little curry sauce, two: most of the "chicken" in the curry was bones, little meat. In my book this is a minor issue and I'd be happy to stay there again.

Excellent Place of Stay with good conference facilities.

Very spacious hotel, attentive staff, comfortable bed.

It's a value for money hotel and we always lodge there when we visit Nay Pyi Taw. Since we choose the cheapest price, we are always escorted to the main building (which I like, btw). I've stayed at Aureum Palace Nay Pyi Taw for only two times and both times are not as smooth as they should be. Our room (322) smelled of drainage (filling in the entire room). The staff came to "fix" it, even providing air purifier and freshener in our bathroom, but nothing could help the smell from seeping out. :( The rooms are not properly cleaned and I found two dead cockroaches in my room. Next time, I'm gonna request a higher floor and check out the overall value of lodging at Aureum Palace Hotel again. :) P.S. the housekeeping took a long time checking our check-out procedure (e.g., did we use the mini-fridge, etc, etc.) we became a bit impatient.

Avoid Room No. 322 at all costs!

This hotel does not look like the website photos. First of all the pool is in disrepair, with broken lights and wires in the water. There were only a handful of chairs around the pool. Leaves and dust everywhere. Our rooms, while spacious, with a patio were far removed from the main building and for three women traveling together-- we felt unsafe. The path to the rooms was dark. We were kept up all night by drunken Chinese businessmen in adjacent rooms. Breakfast was another long hike away. We had dinner here one night- in the Chinese restaurant. Service was almost non-existent and haphazard. Would definitely *Not* recommend this resort.

One of the worst hotels on our month long trip

Aureum in Nay Pyi Taw is definitely the worst of all Aureum hotels in Myanmar. I was shocked to see such low standards that didn’t bother anyone! The ones in Bagan and Pyin Oo Lwin aren’t perfect neither but at least, you are treated like a customer not like a beggar!

We chose it because it has a huge territory for our dog to play and also because of its pool. Unfortunately, the disappointment started with the pool that was never clean or ready for people. I feel ashamed when I think of the families that bring their kids to swim before school starts only to find trash, yesterday’s alcohol bottles, or the cappuccino cup that we ordered the day before and that nobody bothered removing the next day at 8:45 AM! Please, note that the pool opens at 8:00 AM. Obviously, the hotel staff don’t share my feelings about it. Please, see the attached pictures of the items that you find in the morning and also the pool itself that is dirty and needs to be scrubbed.

The very first day that we arrived, we found a group of loud and rude young individuals who were listening to some extremely loud music at the pool. We complained to the hotel reception and turns out that these were some workers from outside who on top of everything gave us rude looks and were laughing at us as if we were swimming somewhere near a village canal. The female manager at the reception promised to deal with this and the behaviour of her pool staff who was always busy checking his phone instead of doing his job. Then when asked to do it, he would throw the pool mats angrily on the chaise longue! Of course, absolutely nothing changed after our talk at the reception.
I am afraid that if I add all the details here, this review will be endless.
It is enough to say that the environment there isn’t safe for female customers or children.

I prefer not telling you about the looks and the reception staff attitude when we were leaving. Simply UNACCEPTABLE!

The only good things that I found was the silence at night, a comfortable bed, and the green territory.

Believe me people, if you want to chill and get a decent service for your money, please, choose another hotel in Nay Pyi Taw.

Awful experience

The breakfast is just OK but there was a Hotel Manager (Mr. Win Oo Tan) who fighting over phone during breakfast time in the breakfast room. It was super annoying to start a day. To all potential guests, please expect a service managed by an unprofessional manager. You can see a dog sleeping dog in the gym. Reception is often no one standby. Room service takes a very long time and need to remind and follow up via phone several times.
