If you want to explore the natural beauty of Doubs waterfall and the dozens of worthwhile hiking trails in the immediate surroundings, this is a wonderful address. We had an unforgettable dinner with tasty local products, next to a warm fireplace, in a cosy wooden room. The knowledge of our host about a regional specialty ("vin jaune") was impressive and we liked the woody, intense taste of that endemic grape. These white wines can be stored for over 100 years and seem to be a good investment for connaisseurs. Ask him about! He'll also give you precious details about where to hike to get the best views and walk on the sunny side of the river, where to eat... perfect.
