This was our second time we have stopped here on the way back to Calais. We love the traditional charm and warm welcome and as before, everything was perfect.  Our room and bathroom were clean and freshly decorated, with lovely bed linen and towels and very comfortable, large bed. The dinner and breakfast were both absolutely delicious - fresh and beautifully prepared. Both times we've stayed here it's been the perfect end to our holiday.  We're now thinking of a longer visit!

Lovely room. Very comfortable. Welcoming and good food too. Close to Calais and Montreuil, so a great stopping off place. 
Rooms are spacious and clean. Parking over the road and safe. Allows dogs as well..

Fabulous little place in a quiet village within 45 minutes from Calais. Ideal first or last stop after crossing the Channel. 

Very friendly staff, delicious local menu, you must try the Calvados! Highly recommended.

This enchanting small auberge is exactly the sort of overnight stop that we always hope to find on our regular trips through France.    Timeless,  bags of character, welcoming and comfortable.    The entrance hall is heated by a wonderful old range that pumps out warmth in every sense of the word.      Our bedroom was comfortable, cosy, spacious and delightfully old fashioned.    We loved the sleigh beds and the writing desk.   
The small dining room is heated by an open fire that, during our visit in early November was even lit for breakfast.     Dinner ( scallops followed by rabbit chausseur and tarte aux pommes using apples from our host's garden) was absolutely delicious - We can't wait to return!

Stayed here for 1 night in May. Lovely homely vibe to it, only about an hour from Calais (which is why we chose it). Staff were very welcoming and accommodating (they speak some English but, as referenced in other reviews, not a lot). Rooms are a bit dated but very comfortable and spacious. We ate at the restaurant in the evening as it appears to be the only place to eat nearby and the food and wine were delicious - the roaring fire to sit by and finish our wine a wonderful end to the night. Breakfast plentiful and pleasant. They provide maps for 2 walking routes around the local area as well which was a lovely way to start the day before the drive back to the ferry. All in all, a thoroughly nice stay - would definitely return.

We have been coming to the Auberge d'Inxent over a period of some 15 years and it never, ever disappoints. M et Mme Six are excellent hosts, the rooms are simple but clean and comfortable and there is always loads of hot water. The food is delicious, lovingly prepared using the freshest of local ingredients, and the wine list is extensive. Should you have trouble choosing a wine M Six is on hand to offer his expert advice. What is so wonderful about this place is that it never changes and in a world where there seems to be so much change for the sake of change and for no good reason this really is a little piece of heaven on earth. And for the first time we brought our black labrador with us and he too recommends it!

Once again I booked this family restaurant run by M & Mme Six and had a very pleasant experience.  We were 7 cyclists who had explored the vallee de la Course et de la Canche during the day and we enjoyed our meal at the Auberge.  The food is fresh and locally sourced, the service was good, the atmosphere excellent.  The restaurant is now well known by Brits who were there in numbers. M Six has a good cellar with a large selection of wine and brandy... just don't get too carried away as some of my friends did and could not cycle the next day!

We chose this hotel for the close proximity to Calais. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, we arrived late from the ferry but they still came out to let us in and accommodate us. The home made food for dinner is lovely, and the choice of wines is great. The only thing is that breakfast is slightly on the expensive side, being 12 euros per person.
