This hotel is situated on excellent location nearest to mall road,taxi stand, bus stand and local market. 
The behavior of manager Anil jee and other staffs are very co-operative. Management is very good. Food items are nicely prepared and served in restaurant. You should stay here.

A nice hotel near nani Jheel a walking distance of 5 mint to Jheel and 5 Mint to Bus stop. We are four peoples so we have occupied a beg room with double bed .. You can order food from outside as well.. you have to be expert if you want there free parking to use or else park in Govt Parking near Nani Devi temple. 

We arrived at the Ashok Hotel after having stayed at a much more expensive hotel at the other end of the lake. The Ashok was a pleasant surprise: modern rooms,  hot water, and the friendliest service in town. A calm oasis in the midst of a busy part of town.

The few negatives (no central heating) were easily outweighed by the overall positive experience.

Nice stay.. clean and tidy..  Rooms are comfortable.. fuds are gud.. nearby town... overall gud... loved and njoyd... Gud water facility...well furnished with privacy.. i recomend this hotel to u.. go n njoy

Nice.. budget hotel located very near to the Nainital bus stand. Mall road and the lake are at walking distance. Staff is also polite and restaurant serves good food at very affordable prices. Taxi services easily available nearby.

I booked a Deluxe room at this hotel and had clearly mentioned the number of members traveling and booked it from some other site, but when we went the Deluxe rooms had minimal to no space for an extra bed but since we were with small kids we managed somehow extra bedding was provided.  Tip: Please do not book Deluxe room for more than two people as it only meant for a couple and the room has minimal in one room and no space in other room for an extra bed. They have other rooms which are spacious and can accommodate more people like 3-bedded, 4 bedded, etc., even 6 bedded room also.  Apart from this the stay was very pleasant in the hotel.  Staff was very helpful and helped us in every bit they can with getting things from the market to booking tickets for the ropeway.  They have a in-house restaurant also. Food was good and with less oil, etc., just like home food.  Liked the chicken curry and yellow dal tadka very much (home food feeling).  The managers (Anil and Aditya) were also nice people to meet.  Hotel is situated at Tallital next to the bus stand and a stone throw's away from the hotel, hardly 20-30 steps.  Would definitely recommend this hotel for elderly people also as it is at ground level.  They have some parking space too.  If I would stay again at this hotel ?, yes but will book a room which is more spacious as per our requirement. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.  Had a pleasant stay overall.

Hotel is good for its location but the rooms are quite dis satisfying. As i booked the room through oyo so i got it at a much lower price in comparison with normal tariff. I should say that hotel authorities should need to clean there bathrooms properly and should take care of smell coming from rooms. Instead you can try for more hotel in this budget
