Artist's House B&B

Victoria is a great host! The house is historic and charming, with comfy furnishings and unique art. The breakfasts (we had 3) were all delicious and varied, and the coffee was on point. We sat in the backyard and enjoyed the sunset on more than one night and walked down to the beach to search for lake glass. A delightful b n’ b! 

Victoria is a great host, friendly without imposing herself on guests. The B & B is an older style property, built in the 1920s. It's comfortable, cosy and very homely. I had the "green" room which had a view over the woodland and was quiet from the trains which pass below the property. I slept wonderfully and felt very welcomed. It had it's own ensuite although some rooms share a bathroom. 
The view over the lake is fabulous and the perfect place for breakfast. Breakfast was an omelette with fruit and toast, along with fresh scones. Watching the day unfold over the Lake is amazing and the bird life wonderful. 
This was such a contrast to the B & B in which I stayed the night before. At The Artist's House the conversation was inclusive, stimulating and interesting and was not at all overwhelming.
I felt as if I could have stayed for days. It's the perfect place for a single guest and a great price.

This is a great B&B in the shuswap. I won this stay at a golf tournament.  Victoria was a fabulous host.  The view from the table where we had breakfast was spectacular. We watched eagles dive in the lake ,boats cruise by. It was so.peaceful.  The room was comfy with our  own ensuite. The other two rooms share a bathroom.  But the one room has the same view as the view where we had breakfast.  This place is great. Breakfast was so good.


Victoria was full... She gave us a recommendation for a new B&B.. Loved it.. Victoria followed up with us to see how it went.  We were traveling along and night time found us in Sicamous, during their STOMP.  Thank-you for this, we were happy to find this excellent place.

Victoria was super nice and friendly. Her home was beautiful with an awesome view. The breakfast with omlete, freshly baked scone and jam and fresh fruits was just perfect. Loved staying at her place and waking up to that beautiful lake view with an amazing breakfast.

We were touring from Calgary to Seattle and found this little gem in Sicamous on our route.We stayed in the green room with ensuite.Victoria was the perfect hostess and it was her little personal touches that just made the difference.On arrival you will find a personalised welcome greeting on her little blackboard by the door for example.If you want a dinner recommendation or suggestion for your day out,Victoria has it.Victoria opens her home to you willingly and almost invites you to treat it as your home.Her warmth and conversation is testament to what a beautiful kind soul she clearly is.The breakfast! Well..... homely, filling and plentiful.A true little gem worth breaking your journey up for.
