Argentina Residenza Style Hotel 

Stayed a night at this hotel after a cruise at the end of May, 2026. I have read some of the negative reviews and I have to say our experience was nothing but positive. We showed up a few hours before the usual check-in time and the two young women at receptioon were particularly welcoming and friendly. We had also booked a private transfer from the cruise terminal through the hotel and it could not have gone smoother. Reception told us that our room was not ready, but that they would text us when it was, if we wanted to head out to explore. They stowed our luggage and off we went. The hotel is very nicely located. We wanted to see the Pantheon and it is no more than a 10 minute walk away. And the shopping in the area? My wife was in heaven, even though my credit card ended up in hell. LOL. When we came back from lunch, we were old our room was ready and that that it was located in the "Annex". This was the first we had heard of this "seprate building" busisness. We were simply unaware that there was a separate building at the time of booking. In any event, it was a complete non-issue for us - see below. We followed a young man from main reception, who hauled our bags down the street and into an alley entrance of another building about 150 - 200 meters in distance from the main reception desk. Not far. We were placed on the fourth floor and the bags were delivered there by the hotel employee. Yes there is a flight of stairs up to the elevator level and the elevator is rather small, but we didn't carry our bags up those stairs and all three of us fit in the elevator, together with our bags. When we departed our bags were carried out to the waiting (hotel booked) driver - no fuss no muss. All was arraged with main reception and went smoothly. We just had to let reception know we needed assistance with our bags and this entirely ended any potentlal issue with the us having to carry heavy down a flight of stairs. The room itself had great views, was clean and stylish. The bathroom had a toilet, bidet, sink and the shower was very nice. The AC in the rrooom worked wonderfully. The bed was comfortable and we heard little noise coming from the street below or other areas of teh Annex. Would have no issue booking this hotel again.
