Ararinha Jungle Hotel

Ararinha Lodge is very luxurious for its location, every room has AC, comfortable bed and nets to keep bugs out. The buffet food is good quality and versatile. There is WiFi. At night the bar will open and there's a very good vibe there, if you're traveling alone like I did, you won't get bored at night as you can hang out with other travellers there.

Be ready for a rustic, authentic experience in the Amazon at the Ararinha Lodge. The staff make this place a home, sharing what it's like to live on the river. The pacing of experiences was optimal and our guide, Ishmael, a native son, shared his wealth of knowledge of the area.
Gero and Ishmael accommodated our meal requests and staff even prepared our piranha catch!
Sad to leave but our 3-day 2-night trip was memorable. Highly recommend.

Visited here as part of a two week tour of Brazil.  This was the highlight of the entire trip with a visit to the Amazon area.  Gero and his team made us feel welcome in the  rainforest. We were taken on a guided tour of the forest, boat rides both during the day and the evenings for both fishing and looking for wildlife, and history lesson of the people indigenous of the Amazon.  The staff at the lodge could not have been more helpful.  The meals, excellent and very typical of the local culture. though only there for two nights I could have stayed for a week.  Walla Walla!

Professional attitude,   guide  Marco-very good english and expirienced. They  pick you up at the  airport and arange the tour according your wishes and bring you back to the airport. Its worth it.    

Amazing trip to Amazon area with and amazing agency. Gero and his team made us feel at home in a wild rainforest. We experienced forest, enjoyed nice views, boat rides, and observed wild animals. We always felt safe and take care of. Everything was nicely organized and arranged with our guides. Thank you! If we get an opportunity we will come back!

This place left has a special place in my heart. A truly beautiful lodge, situated close to one of the many rivers in the amazon rainforest. I stayed here for one week and never wanted to leave. The accomodation was perfect, comfy beds, air con and pleasant showers. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. I can assure you that you will have an unforgettable experience if you choose to stay here. Somewhere I will be sure to return to. 

We did the 5 day 4 nights tour and everything topped our expectations! We are very happy to have spent an unforgettable time there.
The tour already starts with a pick up from the airport. The transfer to the jungle lodge went smoothly without any waiting time and is already a first highlight with the landscape and different transport vehicles. Our guide Magno and our local guide Fabiano were amazing. They found the most hidden caiman/sloth/snake etc. and brought us a snake and caiman to hold/touch into the boat. He also told us a lot about the animals/plants and could also answer ALL our questions. It was a pleasure spending time with them and listen to Magnos stories. We always felt save with them. During the trip time flew by and it was really sad leaving our new friends. On the Lodge was always something going on or someone to talk to or there were birds or monkeys we could watch. Food was good and at night the Tucano bar was the place to go! We had a great time talking to Tucano and enjoyed his Caipirinhas. Even with little knowledge of Portuguese you are able to laugh a lot with him.
We definitely can highly recommend this tour for people looking for an adventure!

The main thing is the tour inself, the great tour to Amazonia. I would agree to sleep in the jungle for all the stay, because the place does not really matter! It's just People and Nature! Gero, the host, and Gandi, the guide, who are responsible for your comfortable stay!We had friendly roommates, delicious food and unforgettable emotions! Thank you, Gero!!

Its was my First Trip to Amazon Rainforest, and it was always my dream to have a jungle experience in the most beautiful Forest in world. I tavelled all by myself, and I did not know, by the time I arrived in Manaus, how to have an immersive experience in the Forest, because I was staying in Manaus for 3 days and there was nothing there for me to do anymore and I was really getting bored and stuck in my Hotel. Due to this, I had already booked my ticket to flight back to my city the following day.  But in the afternoon, by walking in Manaus center near the theater, I ramdonly found the Gero Tour Agency and my Trip starts to change completely! Since the beggining the Staff guys gave to me all the information I needed to feel secure and they were really professional. I felt secure and decided to Join a Group and Stay 4 days in Ararinha Lodge and honestly It has been one of the best decisions I have ever made in my Trip Journeys because all the boredoom and sadness disappeared just after I joined this Trip to Ararinha Lodge. My travel experience changed completely, I did not feel alone anymore because the Group was amazing, people from many countries, everyone cheerful, I even became friends with some of them and we talk till today for exchanging couchsurfing! All the Staff are really professional, they care about our comfort and they are able to being close and funny to the clients but at same time time they are professional. They let me store my luggage in the agency and by this I carried only my backpack to Ararinha, which was much better for my comfort. Everyday there was someting different to do in morning, afternoon and night, and seeing the forest and animals during the jungle Trekking and the canooeing was one of the best experiences in my Life. Joining the worlwide and intercultural Group made this even more special and unique,  we were always making fun, everyone really astonished by such wild and beautiful plants, animals and landscape in the Forest. The meals took place in huge and shared Tables, and everyone could talk and know each other, making easier the cultural integration. Tucanos´s Bar and all our guides were amazing funny dudes, caipirinhas were really delicious. The guides really know the forest and give us valuable teachings about the animals, plants, life in forest, survival techniques.  Sleeping in the camping inside the Forest for 1 night ( hammocks and barbecue) was an experience I will never forget, It was really Fun!!
I really get emotional when I give my testimonial about this Trip because It was completely unexpected and It turned out to be an unforgettable experience in my Life. I really recommend the expedition to Ararinha, GO JOIN THIS AMAZING STAFF AND THEIR ADVENTURES GUYS! Amazing adventure

I SIMPLY LOVED MY EXPERIENCE OF 4 DAYS 3 NIGHTS IN ARARINHA LODGE!!!

We stay to Ararinha Jungle 4 night and we enjoy much these days. The lodge is clean and have basic things that you need in jungle. The staff was very good and helpful. The best of all was the food, very tasty and delicious. The location was in front of river and paranomic view. Very very  recommended !
