Room too expensive for an outdated furniture and not a single tea bag or bottle of water

It was far away at end of borders. 
Beach was un clean but in morning with tide we was able to walk for inside the sea. 
The chalet was spacious and clean but may need more cleaning and perfume. 
Pool was nice but water was very cold. 
They are hiring bicycles but it was expensive and not allowing bicycles from outside. Food in restaurant was good

Trip

I visit the resort with my family, and we stay for 3 nights.
Once we checked in, chalet was not well cleaned, food residue found under the sofa cushions, some juice marks available on furnitures, as well on the walls, toilers not well cleaned.
Food average, no varieties and options.
The good things that the swimming pool is good for children, for adults there is no other options to swim. Location is good, some activities can be done like bicycle, walking on the beach. 

Bad cleaning service 

I stayed at your property on 25,26 February 2020, which was my second visit to Aquamarine. We left with great disappointment and with a mind set up that we shouldn’t return to this hotel or recommend to others.

We arrived after 3 pm (standard check-in time) as we knew in advance, an early check was nearly impossible. I had requested for someone to help us with the bags as we were staying on the first floor. No one arrived although we waited for some time, then we decided to carry them our self. 

The first day afternoon was pretty ok until we came to know the swimming pool is closing at 5 pm. We didn’t see the reason for it. However, I remember the pool was open until late evening during the previous visit. We hardly got any time to spend in the pool that day. 

On the second day, there was no water in the room until 10:30 am. The pool was a big mess as it couldn’t be cleaned due to water shortage and due to dusty weather conditions on the previous night. 

Once the water issue was solved, we identified that the drainage near the pantry was overflowing to the living room, and it had an awful smell. 

We have been trying to reach someone at the reception since early morning to notify the water shortage and also the drainage issue, but no one answered the phone. We went personally to the reception building, and the doors were closed. And many other guests were walking outside wondering what to do. 

Finally, after several phone calls, someone answered the phone, he never apologized or mentioned any solution to the problem. Later a cleaner came to the room to enquire about the drainage water, and he left after inspecting that. The issue was not at all solved. 

At 11:30, I called the reception requesting a late checkout, but the guy was so rude and said I can’t give you not even a minute. This was a very shocking response despite all the trouble that we went through, and the whole approach had no professionalism, and ultimately a don’t care attitude.

As I understand, the management of this property manages few well-known hotels, including Best Western in Kuwait, and I expected some standard in the way they operate Aquamarine.

Terrible experience

Place is very quiet and people are friendly, accommodation are clean and it has everything in the kitchen and ready to cooking.
places for kids, and many pools in the resort, also there is a kid party every Thursday which I find it very good for kids

Family place and really quiet place

Perfect pleasure stay

Firstly it is very far place from anything in case if u need something urgent but there are 2 restaurants there inside and one market not full but can help sometimes , but it should be there also some pharmacy at least which is not there or even near if needed.
For the place it is clean and staff are good but for the pool there is no opened umbrellas or chairs around it except if u will bring from ur room and also the main pool is not cleaned regularly so u can see dead insects inside 🤢
And the facilities there for entertainment is less away from beach and pool and also for kids club it is not that good and all things there are ruined 
In summary place is good for relax but not to enjoy

Good but still some issues

Good venue for a weekend escape with the family
 
Aquamarine Nuwaiseeb Resort is located at the border of Saudi Arabia, an approximately 1:15 minute drive from Kuwait city. This place is quite decent and reasonably priced. My visit during February 2019 cost KWD 80.000 per night which approximately USD 264.00 USD (sheeel.com). During summer I have noticed promotions of USD 100.00 per night if you opt for weekdays. 
  
This was my first stay in Aquamarine and most likely I will visit again. The property is a kind of chalet’s that you usually see in Kuwait beaches. All units are 3 bedrooms, ground floor or first floor based on your choice. I prefer the first floor so you can have some privacy and be away from the noise. The pool is open from morning until late at night and it is quite busy during weekends. They have a DJ playing music and some games for the children. 
 
The rooms are very clean and quite comfortable. The staff members are absolutely a great help especially when you are new to this place you need them the most. They have 2 restaurants operated in a small building. Very basic eating options. Most of the guests either bring food from outside or cook in the pantry. You can also do barbeque. 
 
The beach was really disappointing. It wasn’t clean, there were kind of black substance that rubs on to your skin while you are in the water and plenty of bottles, UNO cards, and plastic everywhere. There are a few photos I am including along with my review. 
 
A friend of mine recently visited this place said the beaches are now clean and they could swim well in the sea. Probably they have cleaned up due to customer complaints.  
 
You can book the hotel through booking.com. They didn’t accept American express. Visa & master seems to be ok. You have to provide a security deposit of KWD 100.000 while checking in. This will be refunded upon check out if the amenities are in the same condition.    
 
Overall it is a good place for a quick escape.

Good venue for a weekend escape with the family

We had very wonderful two days in this resort.
We really enjoyed the pool and the room is really cozy and comfy.
There is a safe,
Extra pillows
Extra blankets
Highly recommended.
There is a small supermarket inside the resort with reasonable prices.
