Budget self catering at its best. Super rooms looking out to sea, pool on the lawns outside. Great bar with cheap food and friendly service. Thanasis, one of the owning family was extremely helpful. If I had a niggle it was the TVs showing sport all around the bar but this is a Greek thing rather than venue specific.

Apartment with a pool and a sea view can rearly be found in Polichrono for such a great price. Rooms are big, but the furniture is old. The staff is helpfull, they all speak english and rooms are cleaned daily. 
The owner, Sakis, is a great person, he will help you with anything. 

A plus is a large kids playroom in the basement, and a table tennis setup.

Very good, friendly  and quiet the place to stay.  I mean that  for Fanis and for Polihrono, at all. Location is excellent, next to beach, next to markets, restaurants, bars... Owners are very professional and they make your holiday more happily. Really, my recommendation !

I couldn't call it a hotel, but nevertheless we were more than pleased. The location is perfect, since only a 3 metre street stands between the lawn of the hotel from the beach. The owners are very warm and polite. The room was spatious, protected from the heat by its position and the trees. The kitchen and the bathroom were typical for Greek appartments - decent, but nothing extraordinary. The room was cleaned every day and the sheets were changed twice a week. Every balcony has at least partial view of the sea. The water in the swimming pool was to cold, so it was just a decoration. I love the rich green grass in th the yard where you can sunbathe all you want.

My recommendation!

From the moment we checked in the stay was spoiled by the hectic shouting of the lady owner Dimitra who came to ask why Am I unhappy with the cleanliness of the room. See pics please. The hotel could be really good because it is situated on the actual beach with a lovely garden and a swimming pool. The disappointment comes when you see the state of the rooms. Matrassses are over 30 years old and so is everything else, the quality of your sleep is horrendous. Swimming pool looks lovely on the photos but nobody tells you in advance it actually closes at 7pm If your children play in it they get shouted at by the same lady owner. There is also a "play room" which consists of a underground room with a table tennis and toilets. My son got locked in in of the toilets and when the owner found him, instead of apologising for the broken lock, had the audacity to shout at him because he wasn't supposed to lock the door according to her. 
And the things go on and on with the things you can complaint about, but this review is getting too long now. Long story short if you don't mind the typical balkans hospitality go there. If you're looking for a good quality family stay look elsewhere and save yourself the trouble.
