Still smell the nasty smell from the room. During the covid epidemy no  housekeeping. You have to clean the room by yourself. The AC was not working properly. The dust from the AC and the smell from the walls makes you sick. No shampoos. The towels are so thin and the sheets are so worn-out whith holes. Disgusting. Even the government hospital rooms are better than the rooms in this hotel. The beds are disaster.

So-called hotel of nightmare

A nice budget hotel with friendly staff and basic rooms. The location is central enough but it can be difficult to find the hotel in the dark since it's situated in the middle of a maze of small streets with no apparent structure. Bad wifi connection like elsewhere in MK. Breakfast is served in the cafe next door for an additional fee of 4 EUR.

Cheap and jolly

Was a okay place couple bars close to hotel but a bit of distant from the center  for me was with in walking distant

A couple days in Skopje

Negatives: Poorly located (unless you want the Greek Embassy, which is next door!). The city centre is a 20 minutes walk, minimum. My room was up in the gods, had peeling wallpaper and smelt of damp. The TV didn't work. No wifi in my room (lobby only). No lift.
Positives: staff were friendly. Basic breakfast included.

Basic

The room was generally fine and clean enough. There were just two things bothering: The bed was very noisy and the bathroom equipment old, broken or low quality.

okay place to stay

The Hotel Ani is as the reviews say a small budget hotel which is adequate to stay a night or two whilst you are in Skopje. As the reviews say there is no tea or coffee making in the room and the breakfast is egg, toast and coffee. However the location is quiet and there is a local shop to buy provisions, a Chinese restaurant and a kebab shop. 
The staff were friendly and I would stay again. 

I have no complaints. A budget hotel but at least the money flows to the local economy not a multinational hotel chain

Nice staff and clean. Lack some maintenance such as not all light bulbs in the room are working, old toilets, minor broken things. If you don't mind those things it is fine. Very good value for money.

Short stay

Good location. Though bit on the basic side and quite small. Staff was helpful and managed to assist our needs on Sunday. Breakfast only included "one drink" croissant and a boiled egg bit scant.  Easy to get there from the bus station and enjoyed the neighbourhood 



Sunday

I've stayed in Hotel Ani 2 times and it was ok. The staff was spoken perfect English and I paid my accommodation cash. The breakfast was good and the rooms were good. It's very close to the Macedonia Square so the location was ideal. I

Average place, perfect for short stay

Clean but a little bit worn off. Friendly stuff. Near the town centre. Breakfast is included in the price, but is very poor (cold toast, piece of butter, marmelade and honey, one egg).
