Location is terrible; there's nothing to do or see around unless you have a car. Shower head was broken but staff told me there was nothing they could do and that I could still take a shower using one hand. They tell you there'S a beach in walking distance, but it's just a rocky sea side where boats are parked.

We checked in for one night and we saw that they are renovating the place. There are working people all over and we asked about our room and the noise. They were building a new sun roof below our balcony. The owner said only today they were working and we would have some discomfort regarding the noise. We have been exhausted from our trip and wanted to relax, but we could not because of the noise. The next day they started working again at 8 AM with all the power tools and hammers you could possibly find on the island. Besides that, the pool is empty and we cant use it. It says there is a beach near by, but you cant lie down.

The shower in de room is so outdated and tiny.l. You can’t even hang the showerhead to the wall, you will have to hold it the enitre time. There is no shower cabin, only a shower curtain, which resulted in the bathroom overflowing with water. We acutally booked this hotel, because our previous hotel was horrible. We came here for a relaxing holiday and we are so sad to have expierienced this. If we knew that they were renovating the hotel and the pool was empty we would never have booked this hotel en we would have chosen a different hotel.  

That is not suppose to happen, the next they the owner can not be found anywhere and will not pick up the phone.

There is not even a reception at the apartments and he told us the day before just to leave the key in the room to check out.  The owner refuse to give us a refund for the night we stayed at the hotel.

Beautiful balcony view from bedrooms!    Shower tends 2 overflow and not all rooms are equipped with a kettle!  Aside from that, the hostess was very helpful!

Staff are kind and attentive to the needs of the guests.

Basic but pleasant room with a balcony overlooking the bay. The apartments are set in an attractive garden with olive groves surrounding it.

Excellent Value for Money

My friend who lives in Mililani found this - as other people have said it is difficult to find the first time so ask for good directions from the owner. We were 3 adults in the bungalow, it is small , cute looking but a little small when weather is bad and you have to stay in. This is not a hotel service, we had to ask for cleaning and emptying of rubbish and sheets to be changed, which we thought we shouldn't have to do, and their was no equipment in any case to clean ourselves (no brushes mops etc). We also had problems with the hot water with sometimes none and cold showers..the pool (more like a child paddling pool)  was tiny and not in use as out of season . The wifi was fine most of the time. The downstairs room had twin beds and the mattresses were rather firm, after a week there my knees hurt and my back! There were 2 televisions but in strange places in the rooms and not in the kitchen/lounge area which we did not like . The view was nice with a slight view of the sea and lots of olive trees and normally it should be quiet but we had workmen drive up to the bungalow when we were trying to rest and then started to do work on the main house, 2 of our days we were woken by workmen in the mornings and couldn't use the terrace to have breakfast as they were in front of us instead of parking in the car park. The owners are nice but not around much and I had to wait around to pay on the last day missing out on a last lunch with friends as I had my flight so I wasn't very happy.  Overall with some improvements this could be a really nice place and now I have seen what else is on the island it is of a potentially high standard, just needs the improvements.

Great stay in a clean with sea view room. Air-condition and fridge are included. Delicious breakfast in a green yard served by kind staff. Very honest and hospitable owner. Near the sea and near a great tavern by the sea. Has its own parking.

The place is owned by a very friendly guy Nikos.

In general the accomodation in the island of lesvos is not its best card. Therefore the ownership of mr. Ampoulos is quite ok. 
The price is quite low. 50 euros per night for the "delux" rooms and 40 euros per night for the standard double rooms.

The view is really very nice to the Gera bay. During the night one may see the moon's mirroring into the bay (from the rooms that have view).

The cleaningness is not that good, especially at the bathroom. 
The delux room is quite big. The bathroom at the standard room is really awfull. and the whole room as well.
The ambience is not really of my taste, but i can understand that someone might like it. Additionally there is not soundproof bathroom.
The garden is kind of cute with the (fake) grass.

Anyhow, Nikos may ameliorate a couple of things and provide a far better service.

We stayed here for one night. It s little bit hard to find the hotel if you re foreigner... The rooms are clean ... But bathroom is too small.. The time when we arrived there was burning trashes and smoking much 😎..Hotel owner is friendful...Actually it s most like a village house ... Interestingly wi fi connection was better than any other hotels 👍 Also hot water was another problem... I cant say it s a bad place to stay but there are some issues those had to be fixed...
