Me and my partner Steven stayed here for 4 nights the hosts Barry and Joan where amazing  nicest people we have ever meet.could not fault a thing the house was lovely and spotless really friendly and warm. Cooked breakfast every morning our room was brilliant the bed was really comfy. Will be back in October staying can't wait BEST Bed and Breakfast/ HOSTS in derry. Thank yous 

We stayed in Amore BB for 2 nights.The room was comfortable, excellent breakfast, more importantly a good old Irish welcome. This BB is best place to stay for a location alone never mind all the home comfort you have as well. Plus a great value.

We spent 4 days in Derry. Couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. From the moment we arrived, we were treated so well by Joan and Barry.
We were given a quick run down on the best bars and restaurants. We wanted to take a trip to Donegal and was recommended Buncrana...great choice. Barry very kindly took us up to the ancient fort, Grianan of Aileach, which gives great views all round.
Our room was very comfy, good size. Breakfast was awesome, I love my ulster fry, my partner loves her porridge.
We'd highly recommend Amore. First class !

We stayed one night in Amore Bed & Breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Joan is a great host, very helpful, informative, and a genuinely nice person. 
The room and facilities were spotless, and the breakfast was beautiful.
The only regret we have is that we didnt stay longer!
We look forward to staying here again, and have no hesitation in recommending this B&B

We stayed here for 3 nights in August 2019, and used it as a base to explore Londonderry and Donegal. Joan is an amazing host, so friendly and helpful. She spent some time going through the town map and noting things to see and places to eat, which was very much appreciated. Our room was large with a lovely ensuite on the ground floor. There is a small fridge, coffee facilities and biscuits in the hallway for the guests. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. Gluten-free is catered for. The location was suberb, only 5-10 minutes walk to the heart of Londonderry, 3 minutes walk to Bogside and the murals. There is parking to the side of the house. We didn't have a problem parking, but being so close to the heart of town meant that there weren't many spare spaces. At one stage someone had parked behind us but had left a note with their phone number so we just had to call them when we wanted to leave and they moved their car straight away. A small price to pay for such a great location! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Amore Bed and breakfast was only a few minutes walk from the city walls, city centre, Guildhall and the bus station. We were welcomed by Barry who was very friendly and made us a pot of tea with biscuits on our arrival. Our room was large but also warm and cosy with it's own private toilet and shower. There was also a flat-screen TV should you want to have a quiet night in and a great tea station area in reception where you could make tea, coffee or one of the large selection of fruit/herbal read and a small communal fridge should you buy any good that needs refrigeration. There were lots of leaflets and information about local attractions and umbrellas available for guests which came in handy. The breakfast was great and very filling, with juice, fruit, yoghurts, cereals and a full Irish. Joan was also very friendly, with lots of helpful information and she even gave me an aloe plant after I admired it in reception which was very generous of her. I would highly recommend Amore Bed and breakfast to anyone wanting clean and comfortable accommodation with friendly hosts and a great breakfast.

We can only recommend this very nice and cosy b&b. It was perfect for the stay, such a nice host who habe us great tips for food, pubs and sightseeing. Free parking in the street, clean, accomodate price, good traditional breakfast, Wifi...everythong great and you can reach everything in a short foot walk! Also Derry is a interesting city and worth a visit.

This B & B is right in the centre of Derry, just a 5 minute walk to the city walls. Joan is an excellent host and made us welcome from the minute we checked in. Joan was very helpful and advised of things to do and places to eat. The rooms are big, beds are comfy, the only fault I could find was that there could do with a couple more pillows on the bed. Joan provided us with a fantastic breakfast - a full Irish! Totally filled us up for most of the day. We stayed mid-week and as there are offices across the road, parking was limited when we checked in however after 5pm there was no problem at all. This place is a great find and I would definitely recommend giving it ago.

Centrally located and with wonderful hosts, this is a great B&B. We had just an evening in Derry, but we were given fantastic recommendations as well as a wonderful breakfast in the morning. It was short a sweet, made all the better by Amore!

Joan is such a fantastic host! We felt very welcome and taken care of from the moment we arrived. The room was large for a B&B and felt very comfortable. Joan gave us great tips on sites to visit and places to eat. I wish we had planned an extra night in Londonderry. It’s a beautiful city with so much to see. Amore B&B is within very easy walking distance of the Museum of Free Derry, the murals, city walls, tower, and many pubs. Definitely stay here!

Excellent B&B in the heart of Londonderry 

We had the pleasure of staying at Amoré the first Saturday in January and couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable stay! Joan is an absolute sweetheart of a host, so warm and welcoming and friendly. Over a pot of tea and a plate of biscuits, she gave us plenty of great tips and directions for a grand afternoon of walking and sightseeing around Derry. Breakfast in the morning was excellent (Joan's homemade pancakes are something else!) and the atmosphere was ever so cosy. Our room was spacious and well-appointed with extremely comfortable beds and nice bed linen. The B&B is only a 5-minute walk or so from the city centre so it's excellently-placed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at Amoré again thanks to Joan's delightful hospitality and hope to be back soon on another trip to Northern Ireland!

An absolutely delightful wee gem!

Joan and Barry, you made me feel like one of the family. Very knowledgeable with great ideas. I had a lovely large room with en suite, very clean. B&B situated in the bogside so close to everything I wanted to see and a short walk to shops, cafes and pubs. Hope to go back one day. Also thanks to Joy who looked after me on the Sunday.
