I’ll star with what is good:
- Price 
- Location 
- Shared bathrooms appear to be regularly cleaned 

The negative: 
- You pay in cash; this is likely so you can’t dispute the charge with your credit card or hostel world after you figure out the place is trash. There is no refunds. 
- Dirty towels with blood stains that you rent
- Linen with hair on it 
- Crappy wifi 
- Free breakfast which consists of baguette, cereal, and coffee out of a dirty basement kitchen 
- Paper thin walls with rowdy neighbours 
- No air conditioning in the building 
- Shower is a room about 2 mete by 1 metre that you have to constantly press for water. 

This is the last time I try to save some money while travelling. I was not expecting hotel accommodations but I have stayed in other hostels and have had great experiences. Steer clear of this place.

Stay far away

It great for the price and what is offered. Don’t go alone, great with friends. Otherwise don’t put your stakes high. 
It is simple accommodation for backpackers and people on low budget. There is limited privacy

It’s a hostel

If you can afford to get a better place please do so! You will regret staying at this place for the few euros you save. First of they make you pay in cash! The walls are made out of paper so you can hear everything your neighbors are doing. Our neighbors woke us up every night at 4 am when they would arrive very loudly and had guest over.When we first came into our room it was stuffy. The front desk people are rude and not helpful! No instructions are given for how to use the showers. You're are not allowed to use the closet storage for more than a few hours and apparently theres a curfew. This place does everything they can to be a terrible host, honestly its impressive how they can be so bad! DO NOT STAY HERE!

Terrible experience! Do not stay here!

My friend and I were here for 3 nights. We’ve got a 2-person bedroom. It’s very spacious and had 2 beds, 2 nightstands(?), a table and 4 chairs and a sink with mirror. That’s really all you need, and the shared toilets & showers ofcourse.

The most important thing for us was hygiene. It’s very clean (everything gets cleaned everyday). Little crevices or the corners maybe a bit dirty but I don’t really mind since you can easily dodge them.

The location is amazing. It’s a quiet and nice neighbourhood with a lot of restaurants/take-away options and also many grocery stores. The metro is only a 5 minute walk away and every tourist spot is fast and easily accessible.

We didn’t know breakfast was included so it was a nice surprise! It’s not much but it’s okay. 

Don’t expect too much, then it’ll be great!

Stayed there a while ago, but always wanted to write a review. It was convenient place-wise, cause you can reach most of famous sightseeing locations from there. Ordered two twin beds, expecting to push them together, but got two leveled bed.... also there was trash left behind the bin. Room was dark. Showers were dirty. On the bright side, the staff was welcoming and breakfast was good. But would never stay there again.

Convenient stay, but shabby

Pros: location, security, lockers, good-size rooms, relatively clean bathrooms, decent price for Paris

Cons: noisy, no private bathroom (at least in 2 bedroom room), rooms do not look as advertised, breakfast

To elaborate, the main things that needed to be there were: this hostel felt safe, pretty clean, and had a nice location close to most of the sites. It was, however, quite noisy, the bedrooms could use an update (chipping paint, garish wall color, etc.) and the breakfast was not great (bread with a side of bread ... why??).

We had a good stay and I would recommend if you are looking for a hostel experience. It should be noted that the service desk was accommodating when our train was delayed - that was great! If you are willing, however, I would probably pay a little more to stay in a hotel next time - but that's just personal preference for a few more amenities.

hostel experience

tl;dr this was a great, clean, comfortable hostel in all respects in a fantastic location in Paris - perfect place to set up as home base for a roam in Paris.  I found it slightly pricier for a budget hostel, but it was well worth the price.  I would absolutely stay again and recommend to all travelling to Paris.  

I will discuss several categories that are important to me regarding my stay at this hostel. They are BEDS, BATHROOMS, STAFF, OTHER.

BEDS - 9/10
The rooms and the beds were fantastic.  I had a room of 4, which I found spacious, well lit (two windows with a view onto the streets and natural sunlight), and welcoming.  The beds/pillows were suitably comfortable and clean linens and blankets were provided.  The room had ample charging ports for each bed and then extra, a sink/mirror within the room as well as two chairs and a small table.  Very pleased.  The only problem with the room was that the top bunks didn't have a side railing, so if you toss in your sleep it's possible to fall off the bed (!).  That wasn't an issue for me or anyone in my room, but just a thought...

BATHROOMS - 10/10
Best bathroom situation I've experienced in a hostel.  For every ~4 rooms, there was: 1 private toilet/sink, 1 public sink, 2 private showers (and of course you can go to any facility in the hostel if the one closest was occupied).  Bathrooms were clean and modern and well lit.  Showers were spacious.  There was a shower curtain that separated the private stall into a "wet area" and a "dry area" and there was a stool as well as hooks for clothes.  It was good for me to be able to wash comfortably and then also wash my clothes as well.  The shower itself was like the showers at a swimming pool (in Canada), where you push the button and water runs for ~10 seconds and then you have to push again.  No way to control temperature, but it was a comfortable temp for me.  

STAFF - 9/10
Wonderful, accommodating, and helpful staff at the front desk as well as cleaning/breakfast.  I had no problem getting help when my room key didn't work when I returned to the hostel at 1AM.  

OTHER - 10/10
Location is phenomenal.  Just minutes walk from the champ de mars and the Eiffel tower, as well as the Champs Elysees.  Perfect base to go late night roaming from.  If you're a cat lover like me, there's a cute cat cafe literally just down the street!  And the hostel is also a days walk away from many other top Paris attractions.  I believe the hostel is also along the path to an elementary school - when I woke up in the morning and looked out the window, the streets were bustling with parents walking small children to school.  It was not disruptive to sleep but it was a very nice to feel like you're simply existing in the middle of Parisian life.  To me, it's a perfect home base for a stay in Paris. 
Free wifi was excellent and reached the room I was staying in well.  The hostel also has public computers you can use in the lobby.
Breakfast is included and the breakfast I found to be quite excellent.  The kitchen is also very quaint and a lovely place to get to know other travelers and enjoy the free breakfast.  It added a very nice touch to the end of my stay at this hostel.

Fantastic Hostel in Paris!

This was one of the best hostels I’ve been stayed. Employees with smiling faces, smoking free rooms, also had places for smoking, clean but a bit narrow bathrooms, functional kitchen and of course free WiFi were technical beauties about this hostel. Also it is nearby to metro stations and great patisseries. 

City Centred Comfort

My friends and I decided to book this hostel despite all the horrible reviews. When we arrived the staff was friendly and helpful. The facility was clean enough for my standards and the rooms were a decent size. The showers could have definitely been cleaner but as long as you bring shower shoes it really isn’t bad. The place is in a really great location with a lot of restaurants around. It is really walking distance from all the sites! Overall we had a great experience and we would definitely stay again!
