My wife and I stayed 1 night at Almlusa on our return trip from Spain celebrating our 25th anniversary. I'm the almost 3 weeks we started at 4 and 5 star hotels in a number of cities, and we were pleasantly surprised with our stay at Almalusa. We were given our room when we arrived 4 hours before check-in and were bumped to a suite. The staff was resomponsive and attentive. Within hours of arrival they brought us a complimentary botte of wine and some muffins. Later, they brought us a bar of Artisan soap as a gift. The location is great, just off the busy waterfront neighborhoods, but quiet and comfortable. We both recommend a stay a Almalusa and will stay here again if we come back to Lisbon.
