The Hotel was terrible with cracked tiles mouldy bathrooms and we had to wait to get our room for two hours.They treat english people appallingly and people waste lots of food.You can’t eat in peace because everyone’s rushing around and people save outside tables and chairs mid day.The staff are very slow and most cleaners don’t do a good job. We’ve been to a lot of places but this hotel has been the worst and we wouldn’t advise it.

Worst Holiday we’ve been to

Absolutely shocking, I've done alot of travelling and this is by far they worst place I've stayed...hotel is filthy, air con didn't work, food was disgusting and lack of options comes to mind, warm beer out of bottles, lack of entertainment, pestered for tips, I left 3 days early I could stomach it for 7 nights.

Avoid at all costs

hotel needs updating badly.cracked bath tiles and floor.shower falling down.taps hanging from wall.the  hotel has a dual carriage way at the front then a railway then an airport.dont expect any sleep if your  above reception.who in there right mindputs a disco under the rooms.10pm till 2 am blasting music out.food was a joke food trays always empty cake stall empty.no plates no forks always had to ask forr them.your all on finding a salt pot to use.table cloths just get turned over no matter how stained they were.glass was found in breakfast cereal the day we left.animation worked hard but for kids and not our seen.life guard didnt help a child in difficulty at kids pool as was too busy smoking and chatting to a woman.parents had to jump in and save the kid.fella  that you changed money with always underchanged us .we never said anything.the animal farm shoud be shut down.all the animals are in a bad state and underfed.hotel is in middle of nowere so bus or taxi youl need..room cleaner was a lovely woman tho.contantly running out of beer outside and coke.outside food area was a waste of time soggy pizza and undercooked chips.if your from uk stay clear place is more for germans russians and algerians

Place ruined our holiday

I can't understand all of the negative reviews. I can give positives and negatives of the hotel. We read some really negative reviews before our holiday, when we got there we were not expecting too much. Like others have said, a 4* African hotel is different to 4* European hotels.

Positives:
The Animation team are very good and work very hard, they work beyond their hours and still mingle on their days off. Big shout out to the Big Boss man Max, very friendly loveable animation manager. Blackie couldn't speak English but we still had a laugh with him.
Food was lovely, especially the Prawns and beef. 
The hotel is clean and comfortable.
We were in I think 1367 and we had no fault with our room, big tip, the switch by the bed turns the electric points on and off.
Bar staff are lovely, if you tip the pool bar barmen they will hold back the real Coke Cola for you, their home brand tastes like Dandelion and Burdock which was still nice.
The waiters are very good and if you tip them they will keep a table for you breakfast, lunch and dinner. They will bring your drinks to you and bring you eggs.
They do have WiFi in the foyer but unreliable.
Cleaner for our room was excellent.
Shops onsite were very good and well priced, you can barter with them.
They have around 8 free cocktails.
They do have kids club but our 6 year old granddaughter preferred the pool.
We found the bed comfortable.
This is the first hotel we have been to that has a hot bath/shower anytime of the day, all other hotels we've been to have run out of hot water at late afternoon time.
There is a hairdryer in the room.
There is a safe in the room. 
We found all of the staff at the hotel very friendly.
The hotel has a private beach with free beds and cushions and straw topped parasols.
The beach was kept very clean with payable water sports on the private beach.
We usually went down to the pool around 10.15 and had no problems getting a sunbed with cushion. The same refers to getting a bed and cushion on the beach.
Air con in room, although not the best but adequate.
Pools clean, large slides very good, kids pool/slides very good.
The main pool is a walk in/steps down to 1m deep, Deep end 2.5m.
The small pool with slides and the kids pool with slides are both pools that you walk into.
Indoor pool walk in down steps and an indoor kids pool alongside.
There is a pool bar, a beach bar, foyer bar and a food hall bar.
We never had a problem with communication at the hotel, some staff spoke better English than others but this was never a problem.
Bus, train stops outside hotel and taxis parked outside the hotel too.
Beach bar/cafe serve pizza, chips, chicken and drinks throughout the day.
By the beach bar there is a area that alternate serving pancakes or doughnuts (not a great lover of doughnuts, but the best I've ever tasted).
2 lifts that were very reliable.

Negatives:

Although we found the food very good, it was quite repetitive, but we could eat something different for 3 to 4 days. Mornings was the same, cut up hotdogs, beans, tomato halved, cereals, salami, sliced cheese, sliced baguette, pancakes, pastries and omelette.
Alcohol was very weak, we never got tipsy even after drinking quite a bit. Beer, vodka and coke was nice though.
First 11 days were very good, then all the Europeans left and then we were swamped by the Algerians, they are probably worse than the Russians. They are rude, unruly and will not queue for food, pushing and shoving. This is not a fault of the hotel but just I would research when to go. Even the staff at the hotel said they are bad and not nice people.
Nothing around the hotel and nowhere to walk, we knew this before we went though.
Only 2 electric points in the room, TV plugged into one of them. A little tip would be to take a small 4 plug extension lead to plug your hairdryer/straighteners/mobiles/switch game console, mosquito plug in and medical equipment into.

Overall:

If you pay for a budget hotel and expect the Ritz, you will be disappointed.
If you pay for a budget hotel and expect to stay in a budget hotel, you will love your stay.
Overall we had a very good time, we weren't expecting too much but were surprised that the hotel was better than what we expected.

Real Review, Very Good Hotel

The filthiest hotel I have ever came across, i don’t know where to start from the bedrooms the corridors or the swimming pool or the restaurant, everything was disgusting, dirty and full of filth, this hotel have been rated 4 star and no where near the 1 star, I am just wondering where is the HSE in the country to investigate this hotel for the level of hygiene and the health and safety???? If this hotel was operating in the U.K. it would be closed by now due to the level of Health and Safety 

Worst Resort I Have Ever Seen In My Life 

i passed one of my  best holidays ever . Thanks to this hotel ,we refresh our spirit and we regenerate our energy. 
Our room was always clear  with good smell .even the colidor  and the reseption .all the public  toillets were clean  thanks to the cute maids. 
In the restaurant ,good food were seved.hot as it should be .  a lot of choices in fruits and sweets.Food was very delicious and varied .the restaurant stuff were always smiling .Mister Nabil is the best example of profesionalism .h e is every where checking every thing .smiling and greeting us .Mister hssen also was there standing to make sur every thing is perfect .
The beach is clean .the swiming pools were perfect .the annimation team were faboulous .ziko.chiko.bobo.damino were present in aqua gem and in the evening show. They made our days full of fascinating activities. Ice cream were served thoughout the whole day .with donuts.french fries and  pizzas . Mis Maria  also was so gentle and her possitive vibes are unbelievable ."thank y so much for the tickets to fish restaurants my barbie"
 I advice every one to go without hisitation to bella vista .because it s really BeLla Vista .

Amazing holiday in bella vista hotel

The lack of cleaning and toilet paper was compensated by a rich animation program, mainly thanks to the wonderful Damino, Bobo and Mila. They made our vacation unforgettable. All employees are nice and smiling.

Totally recommend🔥 amazing atmosphere, good food, and a lot of relax! But the best thing is the animators team! They make your day better! dances, aerobics, games and activities With them are a pleasure!

A lot of good time!

I really love this place. I was here with my friend and it was and amazing experience. A lot of animation program with amazing animators Bobo, Damino, Chico, Sam and Zigo, who I have to thank the most for amazing program. 
Only minus for me here was the food which was mediocre.

Amazing and fun

First of all animation team. ☺️ They're doing an amazing job 😍 The biggest thanks to Damino, Bobo, Chico, Ziko and Raul. They always smile and they're full of energy. The hotel is great but it wouldn't be the same without the staff like this. Animators are organizing many activities. The hotel is perfect for active people, for those who love to do something instead of just lie all the week long.
Reading the reviews below about loud music, I smile. So it has to be like this. This is the type of hotel where people have fun.

Except from animators, the rest of the hotel staff deserves a big thanks too. The boss in charge of the pool is a wonderful man. He's very helpful and always smiling. The waiters are also very nice.

The hotel is old, but the most important it's clean. The staff does their job well.
It's just the right price / quality ratio.

People choosing this hotel should be aware that it's not a modern resort. It's slightly old but please remember it's not one of the most expensive hotels. The staff, however, do everything in their power to make the holiday of guests a success, and ours was like that!

The food is good. Of course, it's as repetitive as in any hotel, but isn't the food at your house also repetitive? What's more, the dinner twice a week was additionally diversified with barbecues, etc.
Queues to eat etc also should not come as a surprise to tourists choosing high summer season to stay. Of course the hotel is full at the time and that's good! This place is teeming with life. Queues would not be so annoying if not the people. Unfortunately, it is the simplicity of some tourists who simply come non-stop (I am not exaggerating - non-stop) to drink and eat are the reason for queuing. if I were to rate these tourists - the rating is 1/5. Do you really keep eating all the time while staying at home? The hotel offers a lot of meals during the day (except of standard meals, there are also late ones and snacks). Definitely you will not be hungry in here.

Each of us has a choice and should choose the hotel that is right for us. After all, you can choose an expensive, modern hotel, an intimate hotel, no animation, no music by the pool with lots of amenities for luxurious relaxation.

Bella Vista is a big, good hotel for active people who want to have fun and for families with children as well.

For us as a couple, this hotel was PERFECT! 😊
