A very cozy place with only five rooms. Great location if you enjoy tranquility with super view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Good food with a personal touch of home grown vegetables and honey from own bee hives. I will definitely come back!

Great place with unbeatable views

Wonderful view over the lake, very calm , clean and good bedding. The room was huge and convenient with fridge. Well located for many sport activities very close.
Trail to Paganella from Andalo. 
Possibility to have good dinner in Ai Castioni !

Great 3 night stay

Great place all around. Every thing worked fine. Helpful staff, location with views, functional rooms. Would definitely stay here again

The owners were extremely nice and the wife is an exceptionally good cook.

Great stay

An amazing warm inviting room with breathtaking view of the Molveno lake. Great atmosphere, friendly service by Matteo the owner's son.
There's a small shop with unique products. We had a wonderful stay and hope to visit again:)

A perfect getaway 

First time in Molveno and picking this property was part of experiencing something different in a wider area we think we know after many visits but probably don't. Molveno is an hour north of Riva del Garda and we visited as part of a round trip round the Veneto and Trentino.

Firstly its location can work both ways. It is on the edge of the small town and given its elevated position it commands some excellant views down the lake. Its just off the main road but quickly you gain a sense of remoteness and peace and quiet. The flipside is that its a reasonable walk in to town. Its about 15 mins to the cable-car and its 30 mins uphill back from the lakeside. Not a problem on an activity holiday or for those who enjoy a stroll in the evening but worth bearing in mind. A car is a must but then I'm not sure you would end up in Molveno without one in any case.

The property has been caringly and tastefully modernised in a pine clad alpine style. Our room was big enough and had a side balcony offering views over the lake. The property also contains a small dining room and shop, the latter selling products based on their own honey - which we look forward to sampling on our return.

Given the location, we were happy to eat here on an evening and the food was great. We particularly enjoyed the risotto and the local Trentino speciality platter. Great home cooked food at sensible prices. We got a warm and helpful welcome from all the family and well done to Matteo for putting up with our very limited grasp of italian.

Thanks to previous reviewers our experience was as we expected and likewise we would be happy to recommend to anyone looking for a short stay in the area.

A warm welcome on the hillside

In the past it has been a mountain hut - nowadays Molveno almost reaches the Ai Castioni. Luckily, even though the next building is 100 m away, the landscape is shaped in a way that keeps the singularity of the place - and the view of the lake and landscape as if there is no city nearby the lake. 
So it is truly remote and quiet there. 

This cannot be said about each and every place in Molveno, as trucks become noisy on steep and winding streets. And the area is popular for biker groups. 

The owner family is really nice and caring. So it is in a way like staying with friends in a little place which holds 5 guest rooms. These rooms are spotless and newly furbished with natural wood. 
 
Why would we rate 4 and not 5 stars: for the price given we had expected more. Maybe more luxury. 
If you love to stay in a quiet and beautifully located small place with very gentle hosts, and you are willing to pay more than in an average local hotel, then this is a perfect place for you.

Molveno is getting closer ...

The owners are a family of true eco-friendly gourmands. The level of personal attention and service is by far the best of any B&B or hotel I've ever stayed in (and that includes more than a fair share of 5-star hotels, as I've spent the last 8 years traveling nearly 6-8 times per month). The owners' attention to detail is flawless, the scenery overlooking the Lake and the Brenta Dolomites is breathtaking, the rooms are spotless and well-appointed, the food is outstanding, and the owners' attentiveness to our needs--whether it involved planning snowshoeing excursions, contacting a local Alpine guide, or educating us on the different types of honey (which they produce) or grappa--was peerless. We will return here again and again!
