Agapitos Villas & Guesthouses

We loved our stays at Agapitos villas. Because we booked very late and availability was limited we ended up splitting our stay into two stays of two nights with a gap elsewhere in the middle. The hotel is small and built as a series of pretty stone cottages down the terrace. The villas/rooms/cottages and the surrounding gardens are beautiful but it is the sea view which takes your breath away - best seen from the stunning modern pool. The whole hotel has been recently renovated which explains the traveller photos on TripAdvisor (which initially confused me as some rooms looked much nicer than others. In fact all the rooms are modern and lovely, as is the pool). We spent loads of time at the pool which was never too busy. The views from the sun beds towards Damouchari are fabulous. On our first stay we were in a nice double room with a small table outside. We were really pleased with it. When we returned Christos upgraded us to the room in the front of the villa with a sea view, a lovely terrace with a hammock and lots of space. All the staff were efficient, friendly and helpful but special mention to Christos who was just lovely. Breakfasts and the reception area are in the restaurant which is the other side of the small road and up some steep steps, to an even more amazing view! Breakfasts were really tasty and offered lots of different options each day. It was a 10 mins walk into Aghios Ioannis or our preference was to take the 20 minute walk to Damouchari - along a well lit back road. We found it more atmospheric there but there were some nice tavernas in Aghios Ioannis too. Overall we felt this hotel was fantastic value for money and felt luxurious and special.
