Africaspirit Surf House

This was an absolutely amazing hostel, I stayed in the 5 bed dorm, no bunks, plenty of space, and only my friend and I and another guy who has been staying here for 2 months. We had a few others come through during our 4 nights. Rachid is the absolute man, so nice and accommodating, will tell you the real prices you should be paying everywhere and has plenty of info on surfing and the area’s breaks. We had multiple long conversations with him, he’s just great, and fluent in English, French, and Arabic. There’s multiple showers, and toilets, and a kitchen. The entire house is very clean, Rachid actually lives here with his wife. The terrace is super nice and shaded but allows some sun in, and you can go to the top to get an incredible view of the water. This was really the best hostel experience I ever had. I was initially going to stay in tamghrat at a surf camp that wanted 500€/week with all inclusive meals etc. with a surf guide who would basically just take you up the road to Taghazout and recommended getting a 120€ taxi from Marrakech airport to Agadir to which they’d give you a quote on, aka just a gigantic scam. You can take the Supratours bus from Marrakech to Agadir for 110 Dh ~10$, then take the citybus 32 from Agadir to Taghazout for 10Dh ~ 1$, walk to africaspirit and pay about 13$/night and be walking distance from the water. Never book anything foreign in advance online at least with surfing, or you’ll get scammed.
