On a recent trip to Goa, I had booked another guest house which was not anything that it had advertised itself to be. I was lucky enough to find Afonso Guest House and it turned a difficult trip into a memorable trip. Jeanette and the Guest House were both amazing. In a country where language is a barrier, and no one is able to give accurate directions, Jeanette was spot on with her suggestions of where to go, the best unique places to eat, setting up transportation and tours, dealing with logistics, etc. It made for a wonderful (and much easier) visit to Goa. I loved the quaint neighborhood feel of the area, and the relative proximity to everything in the South. So much to see just within walking distance of her Guest House.
