Nice atmosphere very clean and not far from the beach. Big and comfortable rooms not far from town free WiFi nice swimming pool big balcony I recommend it for couples. Nice island probably visit it again!

My sister-in-law and myself have just returned from Rhodes & Karpathos - last week we spent 3 nights @ these very clean and comfortable apartments.  Mike was very pleasant and also his mum.  She cooked us a lovely breakfast each morning.  The apartments is a short walk from the beach and a half hr walk from Pigadia Harbour where the majority of tavernas are situated.
I would certainly recommend, but as for children there is only the pool and beach.  I plan to return again one day.

The hotel is small and has 19 apartments around a nice pool. The appartments are simple, bleu and white, spacious with balcony and kitchinette. The owners are very friendly and kind and the hotel is situated at 100 meters from the beach and 10 minutes from the center of Pigadia. Beaches in Karpathos are amazing! Rent a car and go around !

I was a bit surprised, when found out that the towels were changed only twice per week, and the bathroom floor towel was changed 0 times. I assumed they would be changed daily. But eventually that was only a small disappointment, because the apthotel and the staff were so nice and helpful! It was also nice to have two balconies. The pool area was peaceful and the beach is right next to the hotel! Pigadia is only a short walk away, so the location is perfect.

Stayed here for two weeks in June.  Moved from disappointing Hotel in Amoopi, so was arranged last minute.  Mike and Anna, run this small apartment complex with a swimming pool giving an alternative to the main Pigadia beach, with sunbeds etc, which is just across the road.  The apartments are a very  short walk to the local resaurants, car hire and mini-marts and about 10/15 walk into the main Pigadia harbour, with its many restaurants, bars and shops. So all in all a very convenient position.

We had an apartment on the top floor at the end, so had the advantage of an indoor seating and eating area as the kitchen and bathroom were on the side of the bedroom.  The room was very comfortable and kept very clean.  It was adequately equipped with fridge and coffee making facilities but the rest of the kitchen equipment was looking like it needed replacing.  There was a safe, a/c and a small balcony so it made for a lovely relaxing stay. 
Everyone was very friendly and helped us enjoy our stay.

SHORT RELAXING STAY

Definitely the place to be!

We stayed at Aeolos for a week during middle of August. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and did not expect any luxury for the price we paid for the trip. The hotel had a good location, 10 min walk to the centrum, 2 mins to the beach, restaurants nearby and a tennis court right next to it. The pool was nice, but was not that clean. It was like 6 sunbeds around it so not that much space. We liked the breakfast times, 09.00-11.00, if we arrived later than 10.30 the owner wasn’t so happy. 
The breakfast was nice, it’s not a buffet tho, they prepared plates with food: greek yoghurt, an egg, a toast, fruit, coffee and juice. It was good but a bit much food for me, i’d rather take a smaller potion. Nice but not worth 700 SEK for a week.

The bed was not comfortable and the pillow was hard, took me a night to adjust to it. We had to pay to use the AC, but that was not unique for Aeolos. We paid 7€ a night so like 49€ in total. It was really warm inside the room so we had no choice. 

The wifi was really bad, barely functioning at all and the toilet was bad. It took like 20 mins to go to the toilet if you had to flush more than once, it barely flushed and took a very long time to fill up.

As mentioned, we didn’t expect any luxury at the hotel. We know what we booked but some things were worse than expected. The owners wasn’t that nice and looked angry most of the time. 

Overall we’re satisfied, we got almost what we expected.

Have stayed at this establishment on 3 previous occasions but won't be returning as the cleanliness etc has deteriorated.

1)Bedding not changed frequently enough left with stains for several days. 
2)Sink in bathroom not cleaned enough, left with stains for several days.
3)Automatic switch off kettle didn't work and I hurt my hand after it boiling, owner did nothing about it just told me not to boil it for so long. 
Lid had rust marks on it and looked generally dirty. 
I could go on but won't,  just won't be returning. 
So disappointed.

Disappointing 2 week stay 

The building was nice and clean. Pool relatively clean. However, the owners of the hotel need to take a course on bring a good host. No eating or drinking by the pool, no toys, no playing - ONLY swimming. I have a degree in tourim and consider my self a respectful guest. I have never been yelled at for absolutely nothing before. It was so bad that we moved hotel. 

My son who is 7 and a quiet boy took great joy in playing with his new friend in the pool with an inflatable crocodile. They were the only ones in the pool and they were so sweet and play nicely - never rough or any yelling. The owner came and took their toy and was mad that we didn’t follow the rules. 

As for the food, I understand that we should no eat meals there, but with kids in the heat you just sometimes need to hand them a juice or cracker. Also not allowed. 

Hotel only suitable for adults!!!
Never coming back.
