the hotel is not what it seems to be, the vibe you feel is like your in the old times, the food was not nice, the servers seem uninterested in doing their job. overall didn't enjoy my stay there, won't recommend.

Not what I expected

I Must Say This  Hotel has The Best Customer Service at The Front Desk Receptionist ,sorry I Forget her name ,very friendly ,Fast Internet Connection and a great breakfast Buffet ,it is only about 20 Minutes From  Bole International  Airport ,Great Deal ,I highly Recommend  This Place ,

Two nights of hell and food poisoning is definitely a memorable experience of my trip here. would not recommend anyone to stay or dine here even if you are hungry. fell sick the first night due to food poisoning, second night checked out.

Best place if you want Food Poisoning.....

Stayed here for one week while visiting Addis and will never make this mistake again. From cold water to poor dining to small room sizes to poor hygiene especially during Covid 19 pandemic. I can say its definitely not value for money. don't be fooled by other " great" reviews like I did , the experience on the ground is far from whats advertised. please do yourself a favour and have a pleasant stay somewhere else!!

Its wise to avoid this one!

Addis View Hotel is located at kebena area in Addis Ababa having very nice rooms very wide areas and big beds. Their breakfast is so wonderful. Internet connection is fine, but sometimes goes off. But I am convinced that the it worth passing a night.

Nice place

Hotel has no interesting view dispite the name but the location is good..  You are minutes away from Arat KIlo the busy market place and Univesity of Addis Ababa.  The national Museum where rest Lucy, the mother of Mankind, is also close as is Piassa, the Jewelry street in Addis Ababa.  Rooms and bathrooms are clean.

A stay in Addis View

Friendly and welcoming staff in the reception area. Good value for money and a nice location. On the downside, the staff in the restaurant ought to step up their game, and be more attentive regarding the guests and the preparation in general.

I stayed for a couple of nights at the end of April at Addisview hotel and was very disappointed about their services. The hotel room was spacious but the room looked disorganized, the washrooms are warn out with molds in some places, and above all the room had strong smell of cigarette.I asked for a different room but the receptionist, Tigist, was not only unhelpful but she was rude and abrasive. The hotel is at the middle of nowhere and yet no food service or drink after 10pm. I was disappointed by this hotel.

Poor customer service

Nice rooms, most items work, tv works, they have power generators for the frequent power cuts. wifi is spotty, so same as rest of Ethiopia then. Food tasty, breakfast service so funny you can't not like them for trying, though it would be quicker to make it yourself. Rooms clean and tidy, no funny pongs in the room. Bathrooms vary on a per room basis, but generally work. 

Seriously this is easily far better than the Ethiopian average.... and the cost makes it spectacular good value.

They have pizza's and burgers covered. 

Location not close to anything really, maybe Arat Kilo, Piazza, but for the price its safe, clean well run, with all facilities you can need. An absolute bargain if you have an Ethiopian residents card and can get the residents price....

Excellent value, nice hotel.

We loved staying at Addis View again! This hotel is the best kept secret in town for the price, quality, cleanliness, and its location and the staff.  

This is our second stay and loved it even more.  The room is spacious has a separate seating area from the bedroom and house keeping does amazing job every day!

The room comes with breakfast and you can even order that from room service.  There are a number of restaurants at the hotel, Addis view at the top floor, another one on the second floor and the cafe/pizza place on the main floor.  This is a nice spot where tourists and locals (business, young professionals, families) mingle so it has lay back open, nice view to the street.

The hotel is safe and there are two door people at any given time who greet you warm welcome and treat you like a royalty! The staff is amazing.  Front desk will solve any problem for you so just ask.  Wait staff is friendly and attentive to your needs.  Management is great and we really appreciated meeting Mr. Addis.  Thanks for your warm hospitality and making our stay pleasurable.

We think Addis View is a very nice hotel for couples, business people, families or lone travelers and we'll be going back when are in Addis as our spot to stay in!

We really had nothing bad to say about this hotel.  If you're looking for something reasonably priced, good quality room, and great food and location, you can't go wrong with Addis view!
