Adaaran Select Hudhuran Fushi 

We stayed here for three nights after a very adventurous couple of weeks in Sri Lanka. Exactly what we needed at this point - relaxation, and being well looked after in a paradise setting. Had a beach villa which we loved, not as far to walk to the restaurant and with our own little area of beach. Swam (clear warm sea!) Snorkeling, kayaking, beach swing, sunbathing, wildlife spotting (saw an Indian Flying Fox Bat which was huge), watched the surfers on the "rough side" of the island. Had a free sunset cruise one evening. Food in the main restaurant was really lovely, lots of choice and variety each night. Beach bar grill great for lunchtime burgers with a cheeky heron wandering around looking for dropped chips. Great cocktails in the Tiki Bar but can be very strong. My husband gave the chap a tip the first night and the next day he greeted us with a beaming smile and very generous measures! I was reeling when I stood up haha. Staff lovely and all so helpful and friendly. Room was huge and had all we needed. The garden bathroom was a surprise but enjoyed the novelty! I wish we'd stayed longer as there was still a couple more things to explore and do including things like quizzes and dance classes in the evening and there was a nice pool too but we ran out of time. Oh well, will have to come back one day!
