Hosts
We had a great stay at Taman Bali. Agus and his wife are really accommodating, warm and friendly hosts. They both speak good English and always greet you with a smile.

Room
The room was good, as pictured. The bathroom is split into two rooms. One has the toilet and shower. The other has a wash basin and kitchen sink, as well as an open roofed section with a drying rack underneath. The shower has decent hot water, the air conditioner and fan worked and the room was clean.

Location
The location was good for us, quite close to the beach and about 15 - 20 mins walk to the night market.

Food
The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Mango juices were delicious (I had one at every meal). Breakfast was good with decent bacon. We also had the deep fried chicken and chicken salad which were very well cooked and flavourful. 

Overall, a great place to stay!

Really lovely place

We come here every year and now Putu and Agus are also serving lunch and dinner. The food is freshly made and is very tasty for low prices. The warung is open for everyone, not only for guests of Taman Bali: so we met numerous people who stayed in villas around the homestay. Come and taste the great food!

Great food

A lovely place to stay at. Why? It is very clean and well kept, small (only 3-4 rooms with a nice little balcony),  located in a quiet and safe area a few minutes from one of the main road and a few minutes more to the beach. On top of this, one of the reason to stay there is for the staff! Wayan with his big authentic smile will welcome you like a brother or a sister and the other staff (I forgot his name, so sorry!), will do the same. People are genuinely friendly over here and super useful! See you again!

A lovely place to stay!

Again a great stay at Taman Bali. Location is perfect, everything at walking distance.  Clean rooms, quiet and Agus is great friendly owner who will help you out if needed. Definitely try his juices.
Place gives you value for money. 

Holiday

Taman Bali is the best quality for money of any of the 6 places we've stayed so far in Bali and Nusa Lembongan.

The Good

- The staff, Big Agus and Slim Agus. Big Agus is the manager and speaks good English. He's outgoing and helpful. Slim Agus is the all-round helper. He speaks little English but is also friendly and helpful. They're both very likeable guys and make Taman Bali stand out.
- The room was great value for money. Only $17. Big, clean and bright. A table to work at. Very good mattress quality. Clean linens and towels. Powerful a/c. Two sinks (a conventional bathroom sink and a big, deep steel sink for washing cups, plates and clothes). Ample hot water. Big refrigerator.
- Tiny restaurant with short but tasty menu. Breakfast and lunch only. No service Sundays. Got addicted to the BLT sandwich.
- Laid-back atmosphere. Go grab a drink from the restaurant fridge and tell the guys later. Apart from the inevitable neighborhood chickens and dogs, Taman Bali was far enough away from the main roads to be restful.

Could be improved

- The internet, at just under 2 Mbps down and 2 Mbps up was slow but useable.
- Lighting in the room was dim.
- The four units are behind a locked gate, but there's no staff present between 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. We did not feel a security risk, but if the internet goes out (as it did the first night) or any other issue arises, there's no staff to fix it. The guys will stick around if you have a late arrival / early departure.

Overall, you can't go wrong in Sanur with Taman Bali.

Excellent value for money. Newish. Clean. Bright. Great staff.

This place was clean and lovely and the hosts were very friendly. They provided us with information on how to get a boat to Nusa Lembongan. The garden was lovely and it was a peaceful spot despite being close to the center.

Great place

Had the please of stopping into the bistro part of this home stay and thoroughly enjoyed the freshly made nasi goreng and satay ayam, followed by the best cup of banuatis coffee in Sanur. Make a point of checking this place out on your travels in Sanur.


Best coffee in Sanur!

I booked to stay here 3 days and finished up staying a week.  The rooms are bright,  airy and well maintained. The bed is big and comfy and the rooms have a fridge and coffee/tea making facilities. The bathroom is more of a wet room with a good shower and a separate room with a sink and open space to dry clothes etc. 

The host and the house keeper were outstanding. Always a smile and a greeting when I had been out for the day and you choose how often you want your room cleaning. 

There is a short cut to the Main Street which you can’t see on google maps - about 5 minutes away. The beach is maybe about 10 minutes more maximum. 

Loved staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. 

Friendly, clean and homely. Loved it. 

It’s a nice and quiet accommodation in one of the back streets. You can walk to the mainstreet in 2 minutes and less than 10 minutes to the beach.
Really nice seating area in front on the room and they also run a small restaurant in front of the Homestay.
The room comes with an A/C, fridge, coffee and tea.
Everything is clean and the bed is soft and cosy.

Peaceful stay

We have stayed now at this homestay about 5 or 6 times and the standard is always extremely high. 
The air conditioning is excellent, the bed is large, a fridge in each room and a menu which is well priced and extremely tasty. In fact the food is so good that several local Villa owners come for breakfast.

The local supermarket (Hardy's) is less that a 5 minute walk. There is a excellent massage / beauty shop on the same street (1 minute walk).

I have stayed in many Bali hotels and homestays in the past. In the last few years I haven't stayed elsewhere as I can't beat the service and the price is extremely good also.
