There are 3 hotels and apartments in this building making it quite busy. There are not many hotel functions, the rooms are basically studio apartments that get a daily service.

Pros: 
Room is big enough, bed is ok
Has a view
Very close to Robinsons and many restaurants, bars and convenience stores around.

Linen was pretty tatty
Lift was often slow
No safe in 1 room
Water heater was poor

TV controls were not obvious and not many interesting channels.
Did not check out the pool. There was a sign saying it was not operational because of water supply.

Good for the price.

I don't personally recommend this Hotel 168. Room needs improvement. Shower curtain is dirty and old. No dining table and chairs. Big Beds but has narrow space inside room. Their online rate is Php 7,857 but I paid Php 9,800 upon arrival. I was disappointed. Not coming back again.

Stayed here in the beginning of my Holiday, and was a handy location with so close to Robinsons mall nearby.
Cheap rates, but you get what you pay for depending on your room, so build your expectations around that..
After the First night, I noticed housekeeping had only re-tucked the same sheets on the bed from the night before, so i had to contact reception, and get it sorted out.
First time where I have actually had to ask for new sheets after taking them off expecting them to be changed. But anyway.
Otherwise the facilities were all standard and basic, handy place to stay, if I do need to stay somewhere last minute, I might reconsider, otherwise i would keep looking.
Not bad, but can be improved.
The check in process on Booking.com said something about a Bank Transfer to confirm, but that was not the case when i rang them to ask about that.
Easy and fast check in although small space if there are other people waiting.
Improvements can be made but not bad at all.

Handy Location but Room service might need a refresher course :)

Not really a hotel/motel, just a few rooms in a big condo building with a little desk to check in on the ground floor.
Room was small and needs updating, a/c very loud. It was clean and the view was good on 28th floor.
Up to 2 guests have free access to pool and gym on 9th floor (didn't check it out)
Staff was nice and helpful, although check in took a long time and they ask for a 1000 php deposit.
Very close (50 m) from the entrance of Robinson mall and not too far from intramuros 
Got a good deal through a third party website.
Overall, ok and convenient for one or 2 nights

Not great, but convenient location

Upon check in, they asked me for additional money that wasn't shown in Booking.com when I booked, I really felt upset because my budget was very limited.
Room very small and it doesn't worth that amount.
AC very noisy and it's window AC not split and it was fixed in the bottom of the room not top.
There's no lobby, reception desk looks like bus station cashier. And the staff were impolite when I approached them to check out ( no greetings ).

I will never book this hotel again 

Nice apartments, this time i hade 28th and 36th floor. beautiful view over Manila. Everything clean, nice ac, fridge avaulable.
Good location to be in Malate, acces to NAIA not too far, takes 30 to 70 minutes, depending on traffic.
Pool, gym, sauna available.
