I can totally recommend this B&B! 
This place has everything you need, and the owner is really sweet and kind. 
Makes a delicious breakfast, and the rooms feels warm and pleasant!
You can see the beach from the entrance!

We enjoined our stay very much. Pam is the perfect host. We arrived with soaking wet clothing due to a very rainy day. Pam immediately prepared the fireplace to warm us and our clothing. She also welcomed us with coffee, tea, marshmallow cake and more. The freshly baked bread for breakfast was delicious. All our needs were taken care of. Thank you Pam for everything :-)

We loved Pam's home made bread and muffins.  She gave us great advice on things to do and see.  We had the room with the en suite and all was spotlessly clean and comfortable.  Sitting in the lounge sharing stories with Pam was like relaxing at home.  This is where we rode out Cyclone Gita!  Great restaurant nearby at Hotel Paroa.

After travelling the whole way up the West Coast from Queenstown to Greymouth and then unable to find accommodation Paroa Homestay was a lifesaver. This was our first B&B experience so we didn't know what to expect, I was a bit nervous but as soon as Pam opened the door with a huge welcoming smile we felt like we had just arrived at nanas for after noon tea and a catch up, nothing was a problem, affordable, warm, cosy clean home with great travel advice, stories and home made cake, muffins, bread etc. No need to be nervous around this lovely lady even got a hug to send us on our way the next morning, thanks Pam for a great experience our next stop is going to be a B&B as well, take care.

We enjoyed the stay there a lot. It is located a bit outside but close to the beautifull beach/sea and Pam is great. She made special bread for our breakfast and was very warm and lovely to us.

What makes this B&B is the owner, Pam. She is very welcoming and provides good advice on local restaurants and things to do. Also, her baking is exquisite. Very good continental breakfast with fresh bread, muffins, and fruit. All rooms are in the main house so you feel like you are part of the family.

Pam Sutherland, owner, is an absolute delight.  Cup of tea and home baked cakes on arrival!  Comfortable accommodation and generous continental breakfast.  Pam is the font of all knowledge about the locality and a lot more besides!
