Cheap, clean place. the second night there was no cleaning, no fresh towels. AC broke down twice. Price is good, location very good, 50m from beach. The checking out the owner asked for more money just because we had a mattress in our room, yet we agreed to this. Not friendly, we agreed to meet halfway. Just a Bed, don't expect much. WiFi is good.

If you need any place to stay, then take it

Incredible location given the price. The room is very basic but you get a comfortable bed with private bathroom with hot water & very little noise from station one shenanigans. Rooms have potential to get damp. Owners are welcoming & helpful.

Great little spot

I remember reserving rooms in Sunshine place when we were in airport na & waiting for our flight. Yung kausap ko, idk if its the owner, gave in to my request to give us discounts. Ang dali kausap. The good thing abt this place, parang it it bet station 1 & 2 & is accessible sa lahat. Paglabas mo ng room, ilang steps lang you're on the beach na! They also have new rooms, & nabigyan din kami ng same rate. Its a budget friendly hotel, for those who are going in bora with friends, I recommend this place. The beach is just few steps away. Its not a 5star hotel or not as luxurious like sa iba, but it is super sulit!

Close to everything

I've always liked staying in a place not just close to the beach front but exactly in the beach front where I don't have to go down the elevator and walk through the lobby or the pool or the restaurant of what most "beach front" hotels offer. This place offers beach right outside your doorstep. Located at Station 1, aka the high-end location, you'll be surprised at how budget-friendly the room rates are. I consider it as a local needle in a commercial/franchise haystack. On their website, you'll only see the photos and rates but there are basically two types of room you could choose from, the old room and the new, but don't get me wrong, they serve their purpose well. I'd say the old room should be considered if up to 4 people are staying, and the new room if 2. It's because their old rooms offer bigger spaces.

I stayed here for 4 nights during the summer of 2013 and 2014 with my friends and they gave us the same rate when we told them that we were going to stay here again for the 2nd time. I have stayed at a mainstream hotel as well in 2009 and it was good but here is just better. In a mainstream island where everything is becoming mainstream, a touch of local is a treasure usually ignored. It may not be the best but it's definitely my go-to place to stay in Boracay.

2. Great room (Agatha and Diana), strong wifi signal, AC is working well, Hot & Cold water, cable TV
3. Great hospitality service by the owner. She even arranged our transfer to Kalibo with huge discount
4. She told us that if we are on a budget, we can try and eat at Joan's canteen (other side of their fence)  for home cooked style foods. Indeed, Joan's canteen is a winner! They serve breakfast and lunch 
5. The only bad thing about this place is : it's for sale:( Php160M. Anyone?
