Piazzetta de' Monti Suites

We stayed for 3 nights at the end of May 2025. Family of 3, adults and a 14 year old boy. Booked via hotels.com through trivago. Was good value and the location was super!!! Check in was done before hand completing passport details before we arrived. Our flight landed late so we paid 20 € for late check in. This was just us being given a code to access the building and then getting the keys from a box and going to the room. It’s up a spiral staircase made of marble (beautiful) there is a lift but we didn’t use this it said no suitcases inside. We also had the option for transfers from the airport which was 60€ but once in Rome there is a flat rate of 40€ for an airport run. But meant we didn’t have any fuss getting there. The windows was open when we arrived room was cool but we closed them and put the air conditioning on as it was warm. Our room Was directly above the fountain on the piazza below. It was very busy and loud… but we don’t mind that. This could put others off but you get to see the Italian way of life and we would go and sit at the fountain with an ice cream in the evening. Once the windows were closed it did reduce the noise but there was some, I can sleep through a lot. Beds were ok harder mattress but I think you can never get a mattress perfect as everyone has different needs. Boys were hot but I was cold 😂 so had a blanket which sorted me out and AC all night kept boys good. Shower was clean bathroom was really tiny but serves its purpose. Had a coffee machine, hairdryer and TV. Only one mirror in the bathroom which was a pain when everyone was showering and I needed to do my hair. But these are minimal. Location is superb we walked everywhere, amazing restaurants and bars on the doorstep and we did Luigi’s bike tour which was a 10 minute a walk too. We would 100% stay here again. We didn’t see any staff and even left our city tax on the side for them, but honestly we didn’t need to see anyone. Thank you for a fab stay!!!
