I had a great time staying at the Holiday Inn Express-KL City Centre. Thanks to Mathil, I was able to get an early check in on the last available room at the time I arrived and this helped me get some rest before starting my first day. As well, Haza was very helpful in getting me a late check out, which was also appreciated. The complimentary breakfast was great and had lots of variety from North American, East Asian and South Asian options aplenty and the kitchen staff was very efficient in keeping the room clean. As for the surrounding area, Zus Coffee is on the same property as the hotel and it looks like Mixue will be opening soon as well, also on the same property. Next door is a 24 hour Family Mart, McDonalds and a Selections Grocery store. As well, there are many local restaurants and bars within walking distance. Bukit Bintang is barely a five minute walk away as well. The area around the hotel is very safe as well and I had no issues walking outside at different hours of the day. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in KL.
