30th Corner Boutique Hostel

The hostel seems really new and clean (but not the showers) and the rooms are nice even though ours didn't have a window. Ac is working well, beds are comfy.
Staff is really nice and helped us with booking a night bus ticket.
The location is good, right in the middle of busy yangon.

Nice and cheap hostel

30thcorner boutique hostel

Hostels are not supposed to be luxurious, I get it. But this one offers a really bad service that doesn't speak good English. The staff was sleeping behind the counter with a blanket, and several times when I passed by it, they weren't wearing any shirt, which if it's considered rude in my culture it would be even worse in Myanmar.
I didn't have any warm water, and when I asked for it they just said that "it had hot water" (when it clearly didn't).
The showers don't have anything to put out clothes or our cleaning things in it;so I had to put them in the floor where they got really wet. In addition; the showers had a lot of spiders.
I don't think it's worth the price. The beds seemed clean but they were not really comfortable.

Bad service, bad sjowers

I would say this hostel is decent. If you are on the budget, definitely give this a try. Cosy and comfortable. The only thing was the bathroom as it is very small. The entrance to the hotel is very disgusting but once you enter the hotel, it's totally different.

Decent Hostel

Visited. Staff was sleeping behind counter on the floor with blanket covered during night shift. Wonder if it's appropriate. 

What is worse, beds were so dirty. The pillow case clearly so dark n dirty. Hostel cleanliness doesn't look well maintain despite initial interior decoration was well done. Dark dirty stairs up to the hostel.
