Beautiful gardens to relax  enjoy a glass of wine and listen to the birds

A wonderful place for work and for relaxation. Excellent staff, food and gardens to wander round in; lovely sculptures and a fine swimming pool.

I enjoyed my stay at Bronte, beautiful garden scenery, the rooms are kept clean and the staff are warm and friendly.

The place is so warm and welcoming close to the CBD and shops at five Avenue. Bronte has increased it's security to the rooms. Furthermore the place is quite good for someone who wants to rest and study. The rooms are quite spacious and very comfortable. It was a good experience being at Bronte. The breakfast was superb and saved hot which l really liked most. Thank you for the excellent service. I will come with my family and tell my colleagues about spending a weekends and holidays at Bronte Hotel

I had a very pleasant stay at Brontë Hotel in Harare. The property offers a serene and charming environment, with beautifully maintained gardens that create a truly relaxing atmosphere. The staff were courteous, attentive, and consistently professional, which greatly enhanced the overall experience. My room was clean and comfortable, making for a restful visit.

I particularly appreciated the peaceful ambiance and the boutique character of the hotel, which is a welcome contrast to larger, more impersonal establishments. The on-site Palm's Restaurant offers a good standard of service, although I would have appreciated a slightly broader selection of menu options. Additionally, the water pressure and bandwidth were at times inconsistent — a minor inconvenience in an otherwise delightful stay.

Overall, Brontë Hotel remains an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers seeking comfort and charm in Harare. I would gladly return and recommend it to others.

Arrived in the evening to the soundtrack of frogs! Fortunately the noise is not intrusive. The reception and other staff were excellent, welcoming without hovering.The room was as described. The air-conditioning worked and took away the heat efficiently.The breakfast selection was great and catered for most palates Not everything was excellent.The bathroom taps were loose and the extractor fan was somewhat noisy.

Excellent place

The best hotel in Harare. I spent 10 wonderful days in the hotel. The surroundings are charming, parking, security, 1 minute to the shopping center but very quiet area. The service is at the highest level, all staff are very nice and helpful, the food is wonderful (especially breakfast) and the cleaning service is polite, super fast and very thorough. The rooms are well equipped and very clean. Thank you to the whole staff for making my stay pleasant.

This hotel is contained in beautiful surroundings with seating areas dotted about which are really relaxing and are much better than being sat in city centre hotel room. Pity the bar closes at 10pm but I suppose that is because of the close proximity to bedrooms and the fact that many working people do not stay up late. Five minute walk to Spar shop and a few fast food offerings including Nando's. Eight minute walk to Harare Sports Club which offers an extensive menu and a large clubhouse.

An amazing stay, comfortable, friendly staff and very professional. Bronte hotel is quite scenic, lovely grounds and the atmosphere is relaxing. Also conveniently placed near the city centre with health facilities across the road. Great WiFi, great food. Good value for money. A great place to stay in Harare!

This is the best accommodation I have found so far in Harare. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the amenities are very good. I felt ill on my first night there and the manager Marilyn went out of her way to assist me with finding a doctor. Even though the hotel was completely booked, Felicity managed to find a way for me to stay one more night in my room. Highly recommendable.

Bronte Hotel offers a comfortable setting both indoors and outdoors. The staff are friendly and efficient and the service we received for breakfast was excellent. All other extras such as internet connectivity gave us the opportunity to work online. In a nutshell my stay was comfortable and I would not hesitate to recommend Bronte to family and close associates. 

Bronte hotel review

The Bronte is the only hotel I stay in when in Harare. The peaceful gardens are so tranquil and relaxing after a day of meetings. The staff are professional, friendly and helful.  The food is really good and presented with an artisitic touch.  I recommend the Bronte as the place to stay when in Harara.

My experience at the Bronte

Absolutely gorgeous, park-like grounds, with pretty, fragrant flowers and other plantings. Bullfrogs were partying into the night! (Didn't bother me at all - they were fun and not near my room - the ponds are in front just outside reception.) Very quiet apart from them. Fantastic service - friendly and helpful, including housekeeping. Central location. Nice gym and two pools. Decor is classic rather than modern. Breakfast was good but could have used more variety. Dinner was very good the one night we ate there.A few small common issues with older hotels like this (even ones generally well kept up): not enough outlets especially by the bed, some outlets were a little janky, and the ceiling fan was a little wobbly at speed (though didn't seem at all at risk of falling).
