We chose Nona's because of its unique style in comparison to all other accommodation in Livingstone and Victoria Falls. The huts are really nice and fit well in the environment. Maybe a bit out of the comfort zone of most tourists, but clean and descent. Helmut & Gabi and their personnel all are kind people. They can help you in finding your way in Livingstone. The accommodation is a 15min ride off town, make some room in your budget for transport costs, but Helmut will charge a fair price. Unfortunately, fuel prices are unreasonably high for a country with that standard of living. We would advise Nona's Lodge if you prefer to step out of the familiar bubble of a hotel, try something else and you'll be able to see and hear a bit more about what life in Zambia is about. To be fair, we were a bit disappointed that the pool was closed, but Helmut showed us some good alternatives.
