The Urban Hotel Ndola

Very nice Ndola Hotel! A/C was marvelous! The people were 100% cooperative and available. Morning breakfast is the best I have ever seen!!! It is now the ONLY hotel I would ever stay in Ndola! :)

I was greeted each morning with a spectacular sunrise from my window. The buffet breakfast was great. As a Brit living in the US, I miss proper bacon and decent tea. This hotel provided both. Basically, breakfast was everything you need to have a full English breakfast plus continental options including fruit and salad.Zambia is currently struggling with rolling blackouts (in excess of 18 hours a day) but the hotel has backup power and so power was always available. The wifi was generally good except during parts of the power outage periods.The staff were very friendly and helpful. The dinner menu was good and affordable (about $15 to $20).At $71 per night including breakfast and wifi, there's nothing to complain about.

The hotel needs to improve on the safety of residents, the emergency door was always opened , and anyone even non-resident can have access the corridor leading to the rooms.

Good property but improvement’s required on the road from town to the hotel . The music played in the night at the bar is bit too loud for the residents , if the hotel could build a sound proof bar and entertain their customers their wld go a long way not disturbing other residents who could be at the hotel for different reasons

The hotel states that it is only 8 minutes by car from the airport and that the airport transfer is included in the price. These were the reasons for me to book there. But this information is wrong!!! because it refers to the old airport. Now the travel time is about 35 minutes and they charge ZMK 500 for transfer. This should be changed immediately on your website.

This hotel is clean with very comfortable beds. Whilst staff are always pleasant they can cluster together and be very inattentive. getting a coffee takes ages and you have to seek out someone to take your eggs order. They worked better when the manger appeared. Butter in containers was off and some of the cooked breakfast items very cold.

The hotel allowed me to check in very early which was great at the start of a busy day. The staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive. The hotel also offers a complementary airport shuttle. The location is conveniently within a walkable distance to shops and restaurants  The only two drawbacks of the hotel are 1) the wifi signal was poor in my room (which was further away from the main common areas of the hotel) and 2) the floor in the room is polished cement and there was not a rug. Fortunately the hotel provided slippers - otherwise my feet would have been really cold on that floor.

At first site the placemight not look like much but it is truly a gem. My room and bathroom were welll equipped and even stylish. Bathroom was supplied with good quality toiletries. Every piece of equipment was in perfect working order. The place sport a small swimming pool and a hopping bar. The food at rhe restaurant is excellent. But the true asset of the place is the staff - Nathaniel thank you for everything, Humphrey you are the man, Ansasiz (i probably mispelled your name brother) but you were also amazing. If I evermake it Ndola that’s the place I will be

I had a fabulous stay at this hotel. Small and not crowded. The location is close to business and airport. Staff service was great except for the breakfast service, where I was unfortunate that the coffee machine was not serviced with coffee and I had to wait for over 15 minutes to get coffee from the waitress. Otherwise clean throughout.

First never to forget stay at The Urban Ndola

With a cool design and urban-like service, I am fully satisfied and stay comfortable, except for the following: No light is above the desk, which is essential for a business tourer, and I don't feel like turning on a cold-coloured ceiling light.
