I chose to spend time with my family at Binh Chau Hot Spring. Due to many people, we booked rooms at Binh Tam House. We were really happy to stay here. Behind each room, we could step out to the pool. Fantastic!

About an hour and a half drive from Vung Tau a natural hot springs refreshing and full day trip
Shopping good variety and reasonable value 
There are crocodiles to feed and ostriches as well 
Cook you own eggs to perfection in the natural hot springs 
A nature lovers paradise 

They had a full renovation. Everything was very new and room rate went up. I paid 1,300,000 VND for an Executive Class Room with buffet breakfast. Stayed in room 184 in the Binh Tam Hotel in this resort. Electronic key card. Very spacious room. Had a bath tub but we didn't use since we used the separate hotspring pool for guests of this zone. Pretty violet bottles of shampoo, conditioner, bath gel and body lotion. Noisy air con. The door eye was too high for a typical Asian person like me so I couldn't see who knocked the door. When I hung clothes in the closet I couldn't reach the bar so had to step up inside the closet. Password was not required for in room wifi.

We stayed here because we love their black mud bath and we just wanted to relax. The public hotspring pool area is very new. It was raining in the evening in early Oct 2016.

They have bus going from their office in District 1 for 150,000 VND per head. Bus didn't run that day since there were not enough guests. We took public transportation, a shared aircon minivan from Tan Son Nhat Airport to Vung Tau and we got off at Ba Ria 100,000 VND.
Bus with no aircon #4 from Ba Ria City to Binh Chau Market 24,000 VND.
Motorbike xe om to resort 40,000 VND.

Up close to nature 

I just crossed by and planned to stay there instead of going to Vung Tau at beginning.The Hot Spring was quite interesting that you can cook the egg with that heat. But thats all and i did not feel it was worth for me to spend one night there instead of Vung Tau. If you have been in others Hot Spring such as I-Resort in Nha Trang, you will feel disapointed because the services here was boring and mud container looked old and not-well cleaned. The swimming and hotel is quite reach to 3 stars because it just renovated. 
I agreed that if you are lookingfor some where to hide your self, here is the place.

Not a Must Do

Everything at this hotel requires an argument! They do not speak English at all! The mud baths are a joke! They sell you a packet of mud to apply to yourself!!!!! In public!!!! No privacy and do not inform you that you can shower before returning to your room then want to charge you for use of the towels if you get mud on them!!! 
Then the restaurant was awful, food was below standard but at 5 star prices!!! The Day Spa was also a rip off and you get harassed by staff for tip before you even get dressed!!!!!! The rooms smell bad of mould and while I like hot spring pools there is now cool one to cool down :( 
Worst experience I’ve ever had and I am a world traveller! Do not waste your time or money!
