We found this hotel one day when we where on our way to the christ statue in vung tau.
Clean and nice hotel with a small pool area on the roof with a spectacular wiew. Next time i come here I Will defenately stay here.

Here we were greeted with a big smile.
Got room 202 which was right next to a lit swimming pool.
Will we Vung Tau several times, the same hotel.
Little piece of the city itself. But 24/24 shop 4 min. to go to.
Borrowed a moped for 100,000 pr.day

Family hotel with a beautiful wiew.

Fantastic exciting city that you can relax in

I've to this hotel twice and will probably come back again for its location alone. The hotel is small with run-down furniture, the lift in particular.
I booked the Deluxe Sea-view in the first place and there was a small, noisy party near the pool where people drinking next to my windows. I had to keep the curtain down the whole time in case they peep into our room. Later on I managed to negotiate a "vip" room on the upper floor for double the price, but it was worth it. The view was magnificent from all windows, and that was about it. Old, bulky tv, malfunctioning spa, no breakfast or any food available...
But for around 1mil/night, I wouldn't mind.
Best of all though, you can walk across the road to the beach, a small and quiet one.

Could be better

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the port (about a 15 min walk). For $37usd/night for a deluxe sea view room, we were not expecting much. Our room was on the second floor with a sea view. Our window faced a small pool which became filled with screaming kids at 6am. The walls must be thin as we heard doors slamming and people walking around the hall all night long. We did not get any sleep and checked out at 7am since there was so much noise coming from the pool. We did not stay for breakfast or even coffee. Take the elevator because the stairs are covered in wet footsteps- I guess they don't provide towels at the pool.
On a brighter note, the room was clean and we may have been unlucky with the noise which was really the only problem we had. It could have been the result of just one very disrespectful and noisy Vietnamese family.

You get what you pay for

This is the worst piece of crap that i ever seen in my life, the staff cannot speak english and is very uncooperative, the furniture are 20 years old, TV also  and the yellow(can you guess how old is it?) air condition is licking  as well, if you want to book this place please think twice, there are plenty of places a lot better and at a bargain price. Even the wifi does not work, we asked to change the room or get little bit refund , but again the staff was very rude and uncooperative. This is really one of the worst choice that i ever made i really regret to spent 2 days in this hole..... DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.....

Sun Shine Hotel is "THE WORST" Hotel I have EVER stayed at !!!!  DO NOT STAY HERE !!!!!     I booked it through Agoda where it has really nice photos (which must be 20 years old) it's owner is a mean cranky woman who DOES NOT care about you once you pay her !!!  EVERYTHING is very old and in serious need of repair. IT'S A DUMP !!!!  WORST OF THE WORST !!!  We booked 2 nights and only stayed 1 night as the owners 2 dogs barked ALL night AND ALL day, we checked out even though she would NOT refund our money.....YES, it was THAT BAD !!!!  DON'T be fooled by the nice photos or description......you WILL regret booking this hotel the first 30 seconds after you arrive....OH MY GOD !!!!!!!!!
