Hoang Dung Hotel

Whilst checking my backpack at the airline counter in Brunei for my flight to ManilaPI, I was required to show evidence of on-ward transit out, so made a purchase on my cellphone of the cheapest flight to my anticipated destination (HCMC/Saigon), which was a red-eye. Disliking these anyway, I found the closest overnight spot, which was this hotel. I was completely uncertain of what to expect, but was most surprised by the excellent quality and the great receptionist. It was the very positive beginning of my love of this great country, which I want to return to in two years. Within the past year, (To me, in my “ageing out” condition) a key feature of any multi-story building is a lift/elevator, and this fine hotel has it. It’s proximity to the airport was crucial to getting adequate rest after the red-eye. I was extremely pleased with all of the amenities, which I also include an excellent coffee shop next door! Both certainly get my “Wheel of Approval!”
