We had a great time in this homestay! The owner organized the best cooking class we had ever participated. We could feel like a real vietnamise family. The rooms were well-equipped and the bungalow was really clean. Thank you very much for this stay! It was a pleasure.

We went in for a homestay meal preparation and dinner emtertainment activity with our tour group, and utmostly loved it. The host lady and her children were utmostly kind and very friendly, involving us visitors in their typical Virtnamese eveving meal preparation in their kitchen and their family dinner. We all loved it and them. Definitely would recommend if one is interested in getting to know what the trafitional Vietnamese family’s everydays life is about, how they live, amd how kind people they are.

Gorgeous homestay! Very tranquil scenery, a wonderful place to relax. Chanh has a lovely family, they made us feel so welcome and at home, the kids are the sweetest. The food was delicious, I am going to miss it. They were always happy to help with anything we needed and any onwards travel! I hope to be back again in the future! Love to all <3

We volunteered at this homestay and it was an amazing experience. The family is so lovely and made us feel as though we were part of the family. They also liked to get involved with the guests and make them feel part of the home. They were very considerate of our needs and always checked we were okay. I would definitely recommend this homestay to any travellers who wants an authentic experience and amazing views!

This beat our expectations. We planned on almost camping with minimal bathroom options. We ended up with a nice little bungalow with a private shower and toilet. There was no AC or heat so it was really cold. For 100k bat they had a space heater you could rent which we dis and it helped. The host family was pleasant and allowed us to harvest the vegetables for dinner and roll spring rolls with them. Their food was good for both meals. Great opportunity for kids to learn how others work and live.

Loved our stay at Hoa Chanh. Chanh was a lovely host and we joined her and her family for dinner and “happy water by the outdoor fire. The rooms were comfortable and roomy. Definitely would recommend this stay. 

Friendly homestay, nice view and tidy room.

During our stay here, we tried to cook our own Vietnamese dinner (fried spring rolls, mushroom soup, etc). We also tried to make our own banana pancakes as breakfast! 

We are happy to have a chance to stay here with the family! 

Amazing stay from start to finish we got the opportunity to experience the local culture down in the farm by planting & picking vegetables to then come back & learn how to cook the food - which of course was delicious. The views from the homestay are also beautiful. The rooms were so clean, spacious & comfortable. 

Really nice stay here. The rooms are brand new and very clean. We had a great experience working in the farm with the family ploughing fields and planting cabbages. We then cooked dinner together and enjoyed it as a group. Would definitely recommend

It's like the best homestay I've ever stayed in Sapa. We actually had dinner with the local people here, and the food was superb!!!! They offered us Sapa white wine and we were knocked out a bit hard that night :v The view was stunning and those local people were too nice! We loved it when the night came and we came out then made a tiny campfire in the middle of North Vietnam's winter in December :) Truly amazing. Thank you, Mr. Nam for the best experience ever here who gave us a sense of feel-like-home and we really got laid.

I stayed here as part of a sapa trip from Hanoi
This is a homestay - so by its nature it’s rustic - some people in my group had to share with strangers, some did not have private bathroom, walls and floors were thin so there is no sound proofing and decor was sparse. But it’s in a great location, dinner was nice, lunch and breakfast  rather basic. 
If you want an authentic place in a traditional village this is a good option.

Nice homestay

I had the luck to stay in this great homestay for one night and it was nothing but fabulous! The family is wonderful and I really liked my little cottage where I stayed. Cooking together with the family was awesome. We had great conversations and fun too during our meals. Highly recommended! If you want to go for a hike ask for Chau, a terrific and great guide!

Fantastic stay and hospitality

Sapa is definitely a place to visit when you are traveling to Vietnam. The weather wasn’t nice but we saw the culture even more because of the rain and the cold weather. We felt very welcomed at this homestay. No one spoke English but got everything that we needed for our stay! We did cooking with them and drink rice wine (in my opinion worst than Tequila shot). 

The trekking is definitely worth it. I think it could be very challenging for some people that are not use to do exercise! We had to wait a few times because other people in our group were slow! All the trekking guides are really sweet and they make sure you do not fall, but keep in mind they want you to buy a little something like a bracelet or something they make. It’s not very expensive and you have a great souvenir

A lovely stay with the locals

This was our first night stop on a 3 day trek from Sapa. A lovely family to spend a night with. The accommodation is basic however the bathroom & toilet is clean and our room & bed was comfortable. We were made to feel welcome & included. My wife was asked if she liked cooking & when she answered yes was asked if she would like to help prepare the evening meal. Mother, her son & brother all helped in meal preparation, the food was delicious. We all ate together in the family kitchen, grandmother & grandfather also joined us. Breakfast of pancakes, bananas & honey was also good. English was quite good & we were happy to practice speaking with her son.
